I would be surprised if we don't finish top 4 and give it a real shake in 2025...

Me too mate.

If Goodwin can get career best footy out of Trac, Clarry and the senior players, our younger players are ready to play finals again. It’s a complex horse our coach rides, and our last flag came off the back of a turbulent preseason…

No Greg Stafford's Mornington Peninsula farm, 'where the change began', this time, though.

Who, and their property, will step up in Pre-Season 2025?!

They’re going to Bright? My money is on Daisy’s farm

I thought they went to a farm out near Geelong. But maybe that was just Clarry? 😂

Time to dust it off and bump this bad boy. The regression year on year since the flag has been remarkable.

Got his all star midfield back and we still get pumped each week in there and are just as boring as bat**** as we were in 2024. Well done Goody.

So what's the excuse now? Still injuries? Still a top 4 team if we had Tholstrup, Windsor and May out there? 🤪

One things for sure they have been unable to coach the players how to deliver the ball inside 50, and also the forwards got no clue how to lead or make space for one another

We work so hard for our goals I'm amazed this hasn't been rectified. Good teams score easy goals...

I've been a Goodwin believer but we atleast need to get some better support around him..

The competition is gong one way and we have remained stagnant with an outdated game plan and list build for said outdated game plan. Its infuriating to watch.

I really feel for our forwards, they get given no chance to play to their strengths coz Goody is so obsessed with repeat entries and stoppages inside 50 rather than finding multiple ways to score.   Fritsch in particular has being killed by Goody.

Only thing saving him is that the players like him. Players always love a soft coach. But not the members

Goody has got to go, all of his media [censored] and spins. It's run its course. Thanks for the flag but, we need to move on.

JVR was thoroughly dejected by half time.

Jesse Hogan V2 at this rate.

Boundary line running all day was so depressing to watch today

No way. Game moves past him as well. Need a young buck who no-one will mess with and commands respect like C. Scott, Mitchell, Kingsley

Sick of Goodwin, he has to go, he cannot coach and lm so sick of the problems with forward line not being rectified, he’s pathetic and give the job to John Longmire, NOW!

I'm a very big admirer of Adam Kingsley.

We've only won 1 of our last 8 games. Surely the pressure is going to come on really thick and fast soon.

I just don’t believe Goodwin can coach offence. Hasn’t found a solution to our midfield - forward connection or forward line functionality over the last 3 years. I have no faith that he will be able to now.   We are now also so easy to score against. Will always be grateful for the premiership but I don’t think he is the person to take us forward.

SOON????? pressure has been on since 2022, unfortunately this has to be Goodys last year and if this shocking trend continues he might not see out the year

It’s probably the players who played poorly today and were outclassed all over the park, but we need to try something different as we are too predictable and I’m sick of losing. It probably won’t happen, but I think it’s worth replacing Goodwin just to inject a new lease of life in these players. I think the talent is still there (but not for long due to age and potential departures), and we need some new ideas as we are getting worse not better which is very worrying.

If we got Horse, at least the player’s would have someone more interested in being their coach and not their friend.

I genuinely feel for Goodwin. I just can't see it anymore. It was probably an opportunity for him to step aside at the end of last season. If he leaves during the season then it ruins the rest of the year. Things could well turn around. But just too much has gone wrong

It’s not his philosophy. He is a defence minded coach - it is very hard to change that mindset.

Ironically we were one of the most attacking and high scoring teams in the AFL back in 2017-2018.

We leaked too many goals playing a Sam Frost and Oscar McDonald led defence which resulted in him being super defensive after that.

Yeah we were freakishly potent offensively. Funny that we still have the spine of that team.
