Crows are a good team.

only a matter of time before they showed it

There used to be a food court in Canberra in between the Dept of Agriculture, the Attorney General's Department and the Dept of Environment. It was fine. Very normal. The fish and chip place tucked up the side of Treasury was always better if you could make the walk.

My point?

This Essendon crowd is managing such a limited murmur that it reminded me of that public service food court. It is like a bunch of small groups each making polite chat while munching their honey chicken with rice.

Merrett diving for a free kick

captain material

This is AWESOME!!!!!! I may even cry

Crows tagging Merrett, Draper being slaughtered by O'Brien, Crows forwards killing the Bummers in the air - very enjoyable game so far. Long may it continue.

peptides do not like pressure

Weak team can't handle any physicality. They are just a nice  skillful lot of players

Burn the mattress. The Bombers are $h!tting the bed big time. Top 2 they reckoned a week or so ago.

Loved our game last weekend but this Essendon team is not a “scalp”.

He's just following the example set by one of the biggest floppers in the business in McKay

I once sent a pic of Keays to Fritta’s mum and said, “Know who this guy is?” She said, “A [censored] pretender, that’s who he is!” 🤣

  • REPORT: Essendon

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
