Great stuff

and even better Carlton lose two players to hamstring injuries

great!

Lets see how they cope with injuries these front runners.

So the win we had against Adelaide was hard fought all of a sudden.

2 games in 5 days tells more of a story about our performance against the Lions.

He’s going to be a great player. They’ve got some real talent to work with.

Suns must finally be getting some traction up there as Carrara is only three quarters empty tonight.

My entire family is Carlton, immediate and extended… Carlton, every last one of ‘em. I always exercise sensitivity when Carlton loses so I just messaged a few of them saying wow that was a close one, too bad for the baggers. Not one of them has replied. Not one! I think I’ll go out and find me a new family. 😂

Just checked Big Footy and this this my all time favourite

If that gollum looking midget goal umpire campaigner doesn't call that an imaginary touched goal, we win.

What a ******* disgraceful game by the men in fluoro. Disgrace..

Oh what short memories they have !!!

Why WCW? Why?

Do we want Freo or Port to win? I think either case we go out of the top 4?

Freo for Dogga.

Our wins against port and the crows look great aye

I'm calling this the fatigue round. Seems a trend this weekend so far.

GWS and Carlton both fatigued badly in the last quarter. Only one of them was able to hold on somehow.

I'll include us in this category but we seemed to fatigued as soon as the ball was bounced on Thursday.

I still walk on eggshells with my Carlton-loving family because there’s unresolved issues which are never spoken of but pertain to me being a deceitful, unfeeling defector. There’s a lot of them and only one of me. Best I don’t poke the bear. 😁

They play us in four weeks.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
