    I guess former Collingwood MRO will engage the Christian spirit of Easter and ignore, or downplay, Pendlebery’s cowardly off play gut punch to Neale.

    Sure they aren’t a hit on the head but they are an absolute blight on the game and regularly directed against ball players.  Clarry gets them every week.

    Umm so is Daniher. Not too sure what Hipwood brings as a KPF, but he plays smaller than Spargo.

    Always seems to play his best games against us though

    Frustrating to have the Pies win a this because they’ll get up against the Hawks in Gather Round and be 2-3 and then be back on track.

      It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
