You forgot to mention Spargo's ten screamers and 20 goals

Any REAL info about this game?

Good thing we're bringing in Schache then.

Turner also kicked 18 behinds which worried me

All I heard was Harmes has hurt his hammy, so there’s the Brayshaw replacement gone. Jordon likely comes in now. Woe if they’re bold.

Apparently Turner did actually play forward and played well....watch that space.

Interesting, the swing worked out alright with TMac and Petty. Might be worth giving the kid a crack...

Goals?

It is quite sad and desperate that we are hanging  our hats on who played well in a VFL practice match in the second week of September.  How did this all go so wrong?

Not in a SF.

If he is ready, why not? Marlion Pickett debut was a GF, went pretty good from memory.

Just saying...

Injuries.

So desperately short that whilst watching a Dees staffer said, we are one short can you make up numbers in a pocket?? Well why not I said... Result?? A lazy 5 snags at 100% efficiency😁

Dermot Brereton says hello.

And Moniz-Wakefield … to debut? He’s highly unlikely to get a game this week but I like his goalsense and fwd line pressure. Could replace Chin but 1-2% chance only

Tell him I said hi, it's been a while :D. But seriously, no idea what you are talking about.

He made his debut in a final in 1982 and kicked 5 goals

AMW stayed on the park after training today and was doing some extra work with ANB and a trainer.

Not sure it means anything and if it does think we're clutching at straws.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
