Hogan is playing a perfect CHF game

He is great to watch when on

For the Younger Members of ‘Land who have never seen or even contemplated Carlton, being good.
Get ready.

The whole Club and Supporters totally suck.

They cheated the Salary cap for over 30 years (1965-2000) with no conscience at all.

There motto was always “We are Carlton, F$&@ the Rest….

You have been warned….

Our loss to Essendon this year is the only one that is truly inexcusable IMO. We played like absolute garbage. I’m still mad about it!

I flew to Adelaide and made a weekend of it

We tried very very hard to drink enough that night to forget the result

I usually like analysing the game, looking for what is causing teams to rise and/or fall. But I am going for a 'big call'. The Dees would be nearly unstoppable if we had Jesse Hogan still with us. I still love watching him. His work rate and forward craft today v the Bombers has been a tutorial in forward play.

My least favourite loss is the GWS game, because it was an own goal from the club. Selling home games in such a tight season is inexcusable.

Watching this performance from Essendon is cheering me up a bit after seeing Carlton sneak another win.

Sorry mate, that is such a naive comment....

Yep

He would have been a good pick up when he went OOC last season

was our biggest loss of the year by far, too

Brodie Grundy one out vs 2 ruckman who both had a field day on him.

The Suns are a pathetic excuse for a football club. Absolute bottlers from top to bottom. If Hardwick doesn't get them to finals the AFL should admit defeat and wind them up.

Naw the commentators are saying the poor bombers are tired

I definitely remember being afforded these excuses when we were a rabble

oh wait.... we didn't

Bedford with the sleeping celebration after his goal

beautiful!

If GW$ keep the Foot down hard on the Drug Cheats in the 2nd half, they could end up 6th on the ladder tonight

5% behind The Aint’s as of now

Watching Essendon getting thrashed will cheer you up if your annoyed Carlton won.

This is seriously a thrashing & I hope they go on to win by 100

Wouldn’t it be great for the Scum to get done next week by the Pies and not make finals. Will be barracking hard for the Pies next week. Ewwwwwwwwwwww.

maybe send peptides to tassie. they are an embarrassment

nah, bad idea, wouldn't wish them on anyone, not even my worst enemy

Why? We didn’t need to travel, our attendance in Melbourne has been really strong, and we have record membership. If the club can’t turn that into more revenue, coming off a recent premiership, then they should ask hard questions of the sponsorship team.

Was at the Carlton game where Kozzie pipped em last year and by all accounts from demonland, last week was the same... a lot of aggression in the air from their F/wit fan base. Giving lip to families that have little kids is scumbag behaviour and that club seems to attract a lot of scumbags.

I refuse to eat in Lygon Street

The pies will be finishing first. no way bombers beat them next weekend based on this performance. they're diabolical.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.
