Hop off the couch and head out now, FB. It’s way more fun hating Brisbane when you’re here. 😃

Shortly!

Waiting for my brother to come back from walking the dog

At one stage this week the Lions were $3.25 and we were $1.38. a lot of money has been poured on e lions today, lets hope the Poured becomes poor by game end.

We were never 1.38. Or anywhere near it

Never read a Danielle Steel novel, never will. I just remember hearing about how in 75% of her novels the opening paragraph is a description of the weather.

Had a quick look on the Web.

Romance novel, new experiences and the life of the rich and famous, dealing with serious life issues like illness, death, loss, family crises, and ...

Not too far from the MFC experience.

Would like to see Viney clean up Zorko That would give me pleasure.

If we can win the game that will give me plenty of pleasure.

I’m pretty relieved Dry July is finally over.
What a long two weeks.

Might have a couple tonight and watch us sneak home in a close one.

Yes we were. Ladbrokes opening market. Was a silly quote and lasted a very short time.

Lions now favourites

Hate seeing that on the ponies - always worry the owners have jumped off.

I'm excited to see Brown, JVR and Melksham together. With the exception of Fritsch (who is a great individual forward but not necessarily a "team player" in the forward line) and with the exception also of Tom McDonald (though he isn't what he was), this is out crafty-est forward mix.

I think a huge amount of our problems with connection are simply that our forwards don't know how to play forward - at least with Brown, JVR, and Melksham you have three talls with the nous to display proper leading patterns, which should hopefully provide good targets to our midfield.

Throw in Petracca, Kosi (hoping for him to give us something) and ANB/Spargo, I think there's something to work with.

Just have to win the contested ball, so Petracca's forward/midfield mix will be interesting. Petracca's more of an outside player in our midfield though, so hoping he goes forward and Viney/Sparrow/Jordan/Brayshaw can win enough of it and lower their eyes when going forward to the Brown/JVR/Melksham trio, with Kosi and Petracca lurking.

The lions are well down the list of my most disliked teams. I despise Zorko though.

On my way in on the train as we speak. Will soon be enjoying my first ale of the night at the corner hotel.

For those who like omens I will be hopping on the Glen Waverley line. The last time I traveled to the match on this line we beat the Lions on a Friday night. That night we also had a ruckman go solo and he had blinder.

You're speaking for yourself, jnrmac. We ALL would find it extremely pleasurable for Zorko to be cleaned up; firstly, by Viney as you state (because he would carry the dizziness and disorientation for a whole game) and secondly, by any other likely Demon candidate except Petty, such a Spaz, Hibs, Rivers, Tracca or May, just to name a few. Hell, after a few of these 'tragic' accidents, even Spargo could manage a backhander to the nethers for good measure.

About where it ought to be...imho..

Amazed me prior.

Not a lot in it... but understand their favouritism.

We're underdogs... lets get 'em.

Not a betting man. Does the Lions being favourites hurt our chances of winning or is it totally irrelevant?

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
