He's definitely a bust as a top 3 pick, but if you can pick him up as a delisted free agent or for a late pick it would be a smart option for depth. Dunstan will probably be delisted after this season.

I should be confident about tonight but I haven't seen much in the last month of footy to tell me that we are genuine this season. Hopefully it starts with them tonight.

Really hoping Smith can show something. His time is now, he either brings it this season or he's done.

Also looking for big games for Kozzie, Fritta, ANB, Spargo, and Chandler. Our small/mid forwards haven't been performing of late, we need our tackling pressure game to come back in a big way, especially leading into next week.

about to grab a pre game bite and a beverage.  Then onto public transport for the ride in.  Go dees!  Lets Make some noise!!!!

It’s MFCSS talking but I’m certain we’ll lose tonight. That is all 🙏

If we lose this, there’s going to be a MASSIVE spotlight on us.  After 2021, Demons dynasty was being proclaimed.  Now we’d be lucky to make the 8 if we lose tonight.  Form is a volatile mistress !!!

If we lose, we are staring down five losses in a row! Pies and Cats (in Geelong) to come!

Whats the bet he kicks the winning goal from an acute angle with a Torp from 65 meters out!🫢

Some serious questions would need to be asked of the players and coach if we fall to 7-7 with a low to moderate injury list.

An excellent pre game routine fd !!

You should be in prime form by the first bounce.

A loss to Voss would be the worst part.

Whos spot does he take??

Underperforming players, Chandler, Spargo, McVee, even Langdon. Shake them up, best 23 isn't set yet, put a fire under them, perform, execute, or back to the 2nds for a week. Get JJ to take'em on, and see if he can do the spectacular instead of the team first.

This little meeting out in the middle has been going for over half an hour. They seem really serious, no laughing or joviality whatsoever.

Ma

The obscured player is Gussy.

Maybe they heard about your egg.

We are fine, clear night, spent the week in Melbourne, on prime time MCG.

They want to turn the season back our way.

Fight Dees, help each other, 1 percenters, swarm, play smart, get some tempo, hold our marks, convert our opportunities, and don't turnover in a handball panic.

Go Dees

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
