The Tigers don’t travel well

Sumatrans travel better than Bengals!

11 scoring shots to 6 at half time to be behind by 5 points is a disgrace

come on Crows, care to make it a perfect weekend??!

Richmond really hate Marvel, don’t they?

GC their bogey side too I reckon.

If they don’t get up from here, stick a fork in them for the year.

what a goal rankine. he has gone to another level this year, a level i didn't think he had.

I think they should move Richmond to Docklands permanently

Hardwick would love it.

Didn't know where to put this, here is as good as any.....as good as last night was and yes we are on top of the ladder, a little reality check may be required.

We have played one team in the current top 8.

We were lucky to be playing Norf of a 5 day break. Bombers missing Tigers look to have lost and Pies goalless so far.

Don't underestimate what we did last night, North or not we played very very good football.

fair point but i reckon when we look back 3 of the teams we have played will be in the 8 come finals

Ruchmond bog average and GC not too bad but if this is their best we can only be in trouble if we don't bring our best

Their teamwork is reasonably good but the Tigers just don't have the legs anymore. At the contest they are 1 or 2 players short

Just heard a faint gold coast chant go up at Marvel. First time I've ever heard a Gold Coast chant.

Agree @Hellaintabadplacetobe. Haven't beaten anyone above us on the ladder.

Are you sitting in the next bay to their cheer squad of 10?

Jeez if the crows were kicking for goal as good as we have been this game would be about done in the first quarter.

5 people and 1 drum i think

while we are 💀🏇 flagmantle, gw$ look to be a big benificiary of a trade with the tigs - they hold their first round pick in 2023 as well as getting 12, 19, and 31 last year for taranto and hopper, both of whom are on long, seven-year deals

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
