Trying to find a use for years of scarves, the mum in law turned a bunch of them into blankets to keep the kids warm at the footy.  Plz ignore the mess 🙈

How cool is that! Nice job!

My mum drove around with my 2005 members scarf on her dashboard for months after the flag, suffice to say it's become rather faded.

Brilliant. I've saved up a bunch as well to do this, and then saw Jeff Farmer's wizard costume at Freeze MND made from old scarves, and was hooked. No idea how you'd make one, however.

Ponchos.  Our son mad one.  Keeps him warm, and looks great!  A fantastic way to show the longevity of your support through ‘thick & thin’.

I use my Neeld-era scarf as a windbreak to prevent warm air escaping to the unused parts of my house in Winter.

It's pretty much the best use that scarf could hope for - I sure didn't wear it to many games.

My 2011 Neeld era scarf was a prized possession for me after we won in 2021 as it was proof I wasn't some cheap band wagon jumper.  Think I actually lost it sometime last year and I'm devo.

Also annoyed that I got rid of a whole bunch of others from that era as I couldn't justify having a whole draw full and got rid of them when my wife got up me one day about the room being a mess.

Absolutely treasure my 2021 members scarfs and probably over the premiers ones, which I never bought.  I'm hoping the 2023 one might become treasured in much the same way after September and it's a better more classic design too.

They do take up a fair bit of wardrobe real estate.

I never got a premiers scarf either, the members scarf from that year does it for me as well.

I had a scarf from 92 that I wore for close to 20 years until 2009 when it was lost in a move, likely thrown out erroneously.

I've been wearing my 2010 scarf since. IMO it's the best of the "membership" scarves. Simple design, thick, and long.

That's truly fantastic.

But you shouldn't call your kids 'The Mess'. 😁

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
