Cameron took that free from approx 2 meters around from the mark and was allowed to play on.  Very poor umpiring

Pretty bloody depressing this is almost exactly 30 years on from Winmar.

Like the look of Ed Richards. Smooth mover

Nice to see JUH kick a bag against another team for a change.

At least Bulldogs are cracking in, hope we do on Sunday

Home town umpiring kills the game last week we had some shockers this week Brisvegas turn. Also how SOFT is Hipworth

Watching this adds to last weeks pain.

I’m now convinced the aberration for the Lions was last week.  The Doggies aren’t playing that well and yet find themselves in front. OMac is not a great ruckman and is showing tonight. We were down a ruck which clearly robbed us in structure and spirit.

3rd Q was good. everyone going in hard.

i’m tipping the Lions get up

Brisbane were 13 goals at 3/4 time against us last week. It is so frustrating watching Brisbane players miss passes or goals which were nailed last week.

Fagan not happy

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
