He likes to overlook that they were horrible under him just 18 months ago with the same list. I’d be hiding if I was him.

Nothing has changed except he’s not there.

Sitting on the wing in beautiful sunshine with I’m guessing less than 50k of my filth friends - where’s their 100k members eh?

Unfortunately their football club are really good

So attacking football works?

Our team on paper lis miles ahead but we play stupid footy at times.

I found it interesting that once we decided to go all out attack we barely let the opposition move it forward either.

Keep them unsettled with relentless attack and it just encourages them to rush it and bomb it to the loving arms of Lever. We experienced exactly the same mental paralysis in the two bursts where Brisbane got runs on against us - far too many hurried, thoughtless kicks 'away from where they are' rather than purposeful attacking 'to where we want it'.

Ugh it's annoying to see Collingwood be this good and there forward line functioning

We will not get within 10 goals of them the way we play.

It’s time to stop this way of thinking, it is not true. Good sides have worked us out

They attack the Game and look for the shortest route to goal

We should give it a go  the last time we did it was  a Grand Final

It’s very effective

Pies are now favourite with us at $6 for the flag I expect us to drift out if news on max is bad

Agree with that.

We have the talent not the gameplan, and as you e already pointed out we know what to do.

That talent is no good if it doesn’t work hard enough

Petracca, Clarry and Gus got smashed up by a 2nd Game Player last night

Are the filth fans booing JHF? Why?

Because JHF leaving North has everything to do with Collingwood, right?

I’m at the game and they’re absolutely ripping into the kid.

If the bookies don’t have Collingwood as flag favourites by tomorrow night then they’re having a laugh.

Not sure if the stats back it up but the eye tells me they have the perfect blend of offence and defence to certainly win the flag.

Let Collingwood be flag favourite.

It's March.

Remember what the media was saying about us in March-May last year? About how we were unbeatable and we were going to break winning streak records and we were miles in front of the rest of the competition etc?

I don't want us to fall too far off the pace but we're also one year removed from a stark reminder that the side who wins the flag isn't always the side in peak form in March.

They do look scary good tho and we haven’t beaten them since 1865 😭

Pies are playing brilliantly. It's sickening to watch.

At Round 10 last year were were 10-0 with a percentage of 161.7%. We were two games and 18% clear of the next best side at the time, which was Brisbane, and we were 33.4% in front of the side with the third best percentage, which was Fremantle.

We looked, and were, "scary good" last year.

Again, it's March.

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
