Well after three attempts I could only get a ticket in the nose bleed section so it will be a TV event for me.

Try the Premium section. seats come up that don't in the other sections.

If people want 10 tickets for one membership they should have to wait until the 'General Public' allocation opens.

In the morning it should be members only!!  I only wanted a ticket for 2 Redlegs members which eventually I did get but no where near where I would have liked.  Very annoying if they have gone to non-members.

God help us if we meet Coll or Rich in a final.  If that happens I'll get up with the birds and walk to the local Newsagent who is also a Ticketek outlet.

My mate, also a premium member, used his barcode to buy 6 good tickets - 4 non members. No fault on him of course.

I put this on the club..

Paying members must get better treatment.

I am a 34 year member, sat in the rain, sat and watched us get beat by 186 points at geelong, didnt leave early, Tried to buy 2 tickets today with 2 membership cards, not 10. after 1 hour of watching a blue line  cross the screen we got through only to be locked out on the next screen.

Rang the club, SORRY SIR was the reply WE DONT HAVE ANY SAY WITH TICKTEK.  I am a member of the MFC not ticktek. So its goodbye 34 years of attending as a member and the thousands of dollars we spent, as a blue collar worker some years we couldnt really afford the money but we did.

So goodbye.

That's an ordinary response from the club.

They should be backing you and saying it's not good enough and that they will be demanding the AFL and Ticketeck fix these problems.

Not good enough.

Members that support teams and the competition through thick and thin deserve to be looked after.

F you AFL and Ticket Toss.

that's bad, and so wrong.

why not try once more and select as a swans member........would hate to see you miss out

then there's always to general public seats later in the week but they'll be tough

For anyone struggling with getting tickets in Melbourne allocation.

The reason everything becomes unavailable is because they are loading more bays into the system for sale.

E.g., half of Sydneys bays in the Southern Stand M8-10 have become available for Melbourne members and more bays on level 4 Northern stand have gone on sale.

Be patient, everyone will get tickets for this game.

just chose swans members section

thanks Balls,

I just chose wans members section got 8 seats together with my whole family who have had reserved seats for 20+ years. happy to sit anywhere.

Try Swans members it works. What a ridiculous system

Let's flood the ground with MFC members.

To be honest, we should have been allocated 90% of the members tickets anyway.

Surely the 10 ticket limit will be restricted come PF week? If we're playing someone like the Pies then it really should be 1 ticket per 1 membership.

Agree.  It is not the members fault at all.  Good luck to your mate as that is what the rules allow.

The club/AFL could have a smaller non-member allowance like the 2018 Geelong game.  I would feel ok if it was just one or two extras but 10 is ridiculous.  Let the non-members wait till the 'General Allocation' opens in a few hours.

We should email the club and let them know our discontent.  The folks in membership work hard and don't set the rules so I will play nice in the wording.  But I'm Not Happy, Jan!!

The problem is that for the onsale 50% of tickets go to Sydney so their cat 1 seats wont be full and then when they go on sale to public at 3pm youd be able to get them

After entering the MFC barcode it then prompts you to say whether you’re a Melbourne or Sydney member. You can actually click Sydney and all of a sudden you get access to far more and better seats that haven’t been taken, and buy them. Only issue is you’ll be stuck sitting with Sydney supporters (could be a lot worse of course).

I tried swans and got tickets M15-1 row kk. Is that right up the back? I cannot tell from the map but kk makes me think it is way back?

Why not load them from the start, rather than create all the stress and anxiety.  Not rocket science MFC members would want more tickets - and it's our home game.  We earnt it, we should be entitled to more from the get go.

Well after the stress of ticketek this morning I'm now pumped for the game. Now to tell work I won't be coming in...

Why are they making us scrap for tickets when there will likely be only 65K at the match?

and $82 for a seat? GAGF!

I just bought some Cat 5 swans members seats ($35) just to get in the ground. ill sit wherever or stand

Also somewhat annoying if you've already purchased tickets in a less desirable area only to have better seats become available later on.

It is toward the back but you will be under cover (the 'drip line' is Row Y) and protected from the wind.  Far better than the exposed P and Q.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
