Free kick count 11-3 in Dogs favor at half time. Typical Dogs match. Corruption. Unwatchable.

The dogs are gone. Can’t see Bevo surviving this season. They need a refresh

Now there's a hyperbolic statement!

Umps just refuse to pay frees against them.

Have a look at the live ladder, early but Dogs up to 6th. Some logjam…Swans could possibly find themselves out of the 8 this weekend with a loss.

How was that not holding the ball against the Bont?

Because he plays for the Dogs and umpires aren’t allowed to pay free kicks against them

So, I either watch the Doggies maul the Hawks through dodgy free kicks and them showing how "tough" they are against a weaker bottom team, or watch the Dons show how "tough" they are by beating up on the West Coast Tallygaroopna thirds. What a carp night of footy.

Hawks making Shackie and West look like champs.

To be fair I think West is a good player and gives 100% and it's good to see him get a good go. Ugle Hagan is also marking them tonight.

Chubbs Stringer has had his 3 touches.

that’ll be him done for the night

How can anyone take this guy seriously?

And another carp free kick for a goal to the Doggies.

Dunstall just said WC have only been in the lead for 1% of match-time so far this season. 1% That’s astounding.

They are flat out Tanking

Problem with all this loading business that @binman has brought into the zeitgeist, is that I can’t tell who is genuinely loading and who is, in fact, just [censored].

If they are then they're doing a good job of disguising it tonight

No reason why we can't have the games starting at 7pm instead of 7:50. The games done by 9:45 and people can get home earlier and it's not so late for people watching on tv.

WCE leading Dons at half time. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Loving it. Please, please, please, please please beat them.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
