Collingwood kicking 15.3 is really annoying

Gee Essendon are slow in the decision depart I have seen three times when they have switched play and there is a free bombers player and the player with the ball looks around for other options, defence closes out the free Bomber player and he has to kick to a contest.

Then near the boundary in Essendon forward line , 2 Pies versus Springer rather than Springer chase down the ball he choices to bump. Pies clear the ball.

Yeah just a tad.

All over and least bad ( great English ) has won. Got to say I don't think either will threaten the flag in 2022. Well the Bombers certainly won't.

Gee Melbourne have a look at the pies straight kicking.

Ha ha more misery for Essendon & there supporters.

Ok Collingwood can start losing again

That makes me feel sick. To me that’s a deeply personal moment.

If it were me, I’d prefer to be filmed in the shower over that (maybe I shouldn’t give the broadcasters ideas). Scrap the cameras in the rooms immediately.

Wont happen Nasher whatever the TV media want they get and to hell with the morality of the situation.

I just added Ginnevan (sp) to my list of punchable heads.

He is an arrogant, bleached little show pony. I cannot possibly describe what I would like to do to him as I would be banned for life.

Please be a draw…

Wouldn't mind if these two clubs folded right there and then.

Completely agree. I can not understand why the AFLPA allows any footage from the rooms during the game. Seeing a doctor having a private conversation with a patient is no place for ‘entertainment’. It’s atrocious.

Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME to the world of AFL and the Dees ElD! You’ve landed on your feet very well, [censored] them both.

We took the kids to Anzac service in our country town followed by a trip to the RSL with some friends, a Hawks mate and his new mate…. Ess w a nker, he said at one point “oh see how all of these Dees fans are all up and about, how annoying.

I said “listen sunshine you and old Hawks over here have seen what 4 or 5 flags in your life… we’ve seen 1 so GO F K YOURSELVES! (With a massive grin on my face and a laugh hahaha)

Fair to say we’ll not be mates.

What did he say in his speech because on social media he is getting slammed for it. I know Clayton's last night wasn't great but at least he thanked the Anzacs

Someone should start a thread about this sort of player. Hang on… I think someone already has! 😉

I think the AFLPA  is funded by the AFL.

And therefore TV companies who run the AFL.

Hence they get access to the rooms.

The AFL will do anything to make money.

It has no ethics.

I hope Cody Weightman is top of the list!

And I’m sure he would be… had the thread not been removed. Idk why since it’s exactly the same as when it was started last year. Whatevs. So cbf expending energy on pointless guesswork.
But yeah, Cody Weightman is defs like nails on a chalkboard.

If Sydney win today I’d say yes.

And it’s set! Is it me or does it feel like there are more than normal average to below average teams this year. Only a handful of teams that are good and 2ish that are at the point of it all.

Fair call, I find it refreshing when someone has a bit of swagger but theatrics can bite as well.

I look at our own in Gawn. He has swagger, cheek and clearly has tickets on himself. But he is able to find a way to cast that aside and put his team first. That is why he is so likeable. maybe it’s a maturity thing, but raw arrogance in this Pies player is so very unattractive.

  • PREVIEW: Sydney

The two teams competing at the MCG on Sunday afternoon have each traversed a long and arduous path since their previous encounter on a sweltering March evening in Sydney a season and a half ago. Both experienced periods of success at various times last year. The Demons ran out of steam in midseason while the Swans went on to narrowly miss the ultimate prize in the sport. Now, they find themselves outside of finals contention as the season approaches the halfway mark. The winner this week will remain in contact with the leading pack, while the loser may well find itself on a precipice, staring into the abyss. The current season has presented numerous challenges for most clubs, particularly those positioned in the middle tier. The Essendon experience in suffering a significant 91-point loss to the Bulldogs, just one week after defeating the Swans, may not be typical, but it illustrates the unpredictability of outcomes under the league’s present set up.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

  • PREGAME: Sydney

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
