Frost free was rubbish and the ensuing 50 was worse. Garbage

Feel bad for Frosty. He looked so genuinely shattered.

Hawthorn are getting their goals the right way. Not from frees.

Lol did umpire 14 pay the 50m penalty because Gunston pointed to some dark clouds in the horizon?

The AFL have absolutely no idea how to manage change. The number 1 thing you need to do is ensure your stakeholders know what is going to happen when the change takes effect, so they're not confused and disenfranchised when the change does happen.

I’m pretty sure No14 inside the centre square  paid the 50 for abuse against Gunston after he pointed to the scoreboard.

This umpire respect nonsense has gone way too far. Nobody watches the footy to see what the damn umpires are doing. They're getting way too involved these days. So frustrating.

If it stops junior umpires from being abused/intimidated at kids games I dont mind it..

I am in shock over the PATHETIC over the top Umpire interpretations of these Rules

Pity most of the conversation is about the umps and the rules today, this is actually a cracking game.

This game is so hard to watch, with atrocious umpiring turning the game with their dubious decisions. How many Cat goals from free kicks?  It’s so good to watch our boys play team football.

Been a good game to watch

The Geelong big blokes up forward might end up being the difference (already 6 goals combined)

4 goals direct from free kicks this quarter for the Cats

Lingy can GAGF saying that’s a clear push in the back

Let’s not get ridiculous now Dub. Heat of the moment comment. Have a nice cup of tea and a little rest and you’ll come to your senses. Remember… ESSENDON 🤮

I'm with DUB WCW. I probably interchange between Geelong and Essendon. But I can't abide by the run Geelong have always had with the umps.

Hawkins gave away 50 just hanging around in the protected zone. No worries mate.

Can Selwood dispose of the ball legally any more? Last 5 minutes all I've seen are throws, scoops and tunnels.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
