Swans disposal is terrible

Both teams’ disposal is awful… at least the Doggies are marking the thing.

Anyone else more and more impressed with Nathan Jones' special commentary every game he commentates. Quality analysis with no ego or head-wobble, nothing more nothing less.

lol the giraffe English taking a screamer over Mr 1000 goals. How embarrassing for buddy!

Every time Sydney take a mark the bulldogs  DO NOT STAND.  THEY RUN BACK 5 OR 10 METRES.   TheY did it AGainst us. It's terrible

Dogs kicking themselves into trouble... they need to take advantage.

I still don't get the issue with Weightman.

Ugle-Hagan has shown some real mongrel, I like it.

Bailey Smith really does get under the ball when kicking long.

Blimey the dogs get an easy run from the umpires. ,, Sound off just makes it so obvious because it’s against my opinion of the play

It's a deliberate tactic.  By moving that far away, they are not subject to the "Stand" rule.

Of course, it allows their opponent a clear 5 -  10 metre run forward.

The Dogs coaching team must think it is worth it.  I'm not so convinced.

Swans are lazy. Their half backs and wings don't like the gut running to create options half forward.

Swans v Dogs is a horrible game of footy. Kick to kick from one backline to the next, no real highlights, horrendous field kicking and goal kicking, Dogs getting free kicks just for being on the ground.

Is there any player going around who’s more irritating that Weightman?

No

John Longmire will give his players a serious bake at half time. They have been deplorable. Worst half of football I've seen from the Swans in a long time.

Dogs 2:1 umpire love fest continues tonight.  😡🤢🤮

Umgle Bungle or whatever his name is as No 1 draft pick looks a BUST

Also Bont 3 ordinary games in  row, hype must be too hard

So if you move back a meter or two then it Must be worth it

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
