Dogs look [censored] scared of going down the middle. We definitely broke them.

Doggies won't make the 8 looking like this

Embarrassing defensive effort from the Dogs.
I can legitimately see them missing the 8. They are all over the shop.

If this continues Bevo’s presser will be interesting!

How did we let the Bulldogs kick eight in a row against us?

We don't have a midfield that's 5 stars deep playing like madmen on crack.

The bulldogs are nothing without schache

Disgusting isn't it.

Both defences look a bit weak but carlscums midfield is very good. (yuk)

Carlton are my second fave team.
There’s something you don’t hear too many ppl say. But it’s true.

And we lost Salem from an already undermanned defense which threw us.

Honestly

There is some 2019 Dees vibe about the Dogs this year..

As for Man crush comment, it was Chink who first made it, he has the credits in the bank to make such comments IMO

Psst…. Might want to edit the Ch^nk part

Oscar doing what Oscar does

No composure as a backman

Should be tried as a fwd back up ruck but won’t happen

Carlton look good, but it feels like they won't sustain it. (I said this last week and they got up though!). I still hate them with a passion and would love to see them lose by a dodgy free kick on the siren, or something similar.

But the Dogs defensive spread and concentration is atrocious. Something not right at the Doggies.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
