I was at the grand final and the post match. He was clearly a demon man who loved the club.

Can't stand him commenting Melbourne games. Constantly negative. I'm enjoying the game apart from him implying that we are getting ahead of ourselves.

He has been like it for years. His attempts to be impartial is the problem. He needs to be taken off Demon games.

Constantly negative? Have a read of this thread.
He is an MFC champ. Show him some respect and don’t question whether he is with us or against us.

Carlton player expressed disgust at the decision for the push in the back against Viney. No 50. Not sure why.

maybe the umpire interpreted it differently....

There is a difference between abuse and emotion display the AFL are going to ruin this game with this crap.

When was the last time we have 100 points kicked on us.

Weid coming on now… lol what?! He should have started.

Not a great start for the ‘Fritsch is a top 50 player in the game’ fans

Sometimes posts just don’t age well

lol Hunt is fast, but he thinks he can't be caught, ever. How many times does he need to be proved wrong before he learns?

SEN will love this Umpire controversy

Gerald will be beside himself in the morning

Gill should resign if he is happy with tonight’s performance

Pittonet nine clearances. Gawn and Jackson need to be stronger in ruck clearances.

On Trac's 50M

Unfortunately most of these (and all UMPeeS) have never played the game. Or if they did they didn't like the centristical (if that's a word) essence that it is a contact sport. That's why they either chose soccer or umpiring. Both attract actors that can run.

On the TV, Trac was shown as round the neck but in the flurry of the game he wouldn't have known and announced an expletive.

These white blowfly larvae need to get a grip, otherwise a GF will be decided on an umpy's offendemamation (word?)

He kicked 4 in the VFL today in half a game.

Needs to learn when to bounce! Decision making atrocious.

In the corresponding game last year.

This new crackdown is such BS. You have to be able to express annoyance once it’s not at the ump. Trac just yelled at the sky. The AFL can be so embarrassing and amateur sometimes.

Oh wow.

Preseason last year...

Bump ball mark, this games umpiring has been a joke. We have equally been embarrassing.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
