Maybe missed your point... but isn't Succession available on Binge (which is owned by Fox)?

Possibly, maybe the family enjoy watching themselves being evil and disgusting!

It is an HBO Series…

In Australia you can only watch it on either Foxtel or Binge (owned by Foxtel).

Nothing Rupert does is Legal

I think i'll watch it first and then pass judgment

And as my expectations are low i won't be too disappointed

Is it between games on a Saturday? Because fox have a very limited window there.

Or is it after games? In which case 10:30 on a Saturday doesn’t seem like a rating winner.

Fox can’t ever seem to produce a decent post game highlights evening show, with a player interview and then recap of the round so far. You’d think that’s the easy and obvious thing to do.

Why would they put it on a night when there are games on? They won't have time between games as they usually have the twilight game into the night so I assume it's after the night game which is crap, after the game I either want to revel in a victory by listening to post game dissection or switch the footy off altogether.

they can always talk about each and their  glory days, but

Why do all the powers that be believe that fancy features (dining, shops) at Docklands and at the G as well as poor quality so-called entertainment from ex players substitute for just playing footy.

Our great game can promote itself.

Sounds like entertainment for the lobotomised, much like Bounce.

It brings back a memory of a variety show on 7 during the late 60s? where each club did one show each.

Started as cringe  worthy  vomit and evolved into a reasonable show (brought in professional singers, dancers, musicians with the players doing cameos/background).

It will be on after the 7:25pm Fox Footy game.

This show might be a slight upgrade on Dermie talking non stop for 50 minutes in the previous post Saturday night game show they had.

The Penthouse Club?

Gawd.

As the thread title didn't distinguish between Mark Robinson and Russell Robertson, I thought that perhaps they were going to resuscitate the festering corpse of the Footy Show with a line up that would make the original lineup comparatively resemble  'Firing Line with William F. Buckley'.

If they were going to go that way, they may as well go the full 9 yards and bring back Hutchy as well to dial the slovenliness level up to 11.

I dont think so.  It was on a Friday night and it only went one season.

I see now, but I wasn't sure initially whether the 'the MFC one' bit pertained to Robbo or to the Footy Show. I know there were some club corner like shows lurking around the old 7 Sports AFL channel on pay TV back in the day and I thought Robbo might have skulked onto there.

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Sunday’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.

  • POSTGAME: St. Kilda

Never in doubt!!! In Steven King’s first game at the helm of the Melbourne Football Club, the Dees outlasted Saints in a wild, momentum-swinging thriller at the MCG, running out 13-point winners.
