Although they didn’t stand out in the GF Kosi starred throughout the season and TMac was important for us early on.

I enjoyed watching that.

That 8 hours or more stuck on the airport tarmac in Queensland and a flight each way certainly go the players offensive juices flowing. Since then we seem to have developed a killer instinct and big scores.

I was about the post similar and posted in the  after the game thread  something similar . Tmac forced the opposition putting a tall defender on him . When max or Dogga went forward too most oppositions were stretched  , Then Fritsch got a 4 defender  and  he bobbed up  with a few goals Kossie Spargo  played the perfect spill game . Then Trac was the icing on cake often kicking the game breaker.

Kozzie's goals were brilliant but the sheppard for Petracca on Dunkley in the GF personifies us.  Better than any goal he kicked for us all year. Uncle Byron would be proud.

Loved every minute of it thanks

Only 57?

'Snap', adonski, as I was watching. To which I was going to add, 'Now I wish it was a 157-year drought!'

p.s. Thanks, yet again, @Demonland

p.s.

What a brilliant package that is, made even better by the lack of the annoying crappy music that always seems to accompany such highlight reels.  Think this might just get watched more than once!

Oh man, so proud of these guys. Insanely proud. (Yep, crying again. Happy tears, happy tears.)

That was epic. What a season.

Now would not be a good time for me to wander on over to the ‘Arrogant fan’ thread.

Bloody brilliant. Unless I missed it though, Petracca's spinning clearance away from Libba to Brown for a goal in GF had to be a top 10 moment.

Also, that reel really proves that we have been the best side all year. The scores are always close, or in our favour.

Our biggest deficit in a game came in a game we won (44 points Geelong Rnd 23). I also think our second biggest deficit for the year was against Brisbane (24 points), which we also won. Anyone know if that’s correct? The losses were tighter and sealed at the end against Collingwood, Bulldogs and GWS.

That is an insanely good season of football. I don’t think we knew it while it was happening, because we couldn’t believe it yet.

This is high in my rotations of all things Premiership viewing.

What a year and what a team 🔴🔵

Now to watch again.

Loved all 57.
Like another 57 of Lever intercepting, a raking May kick, Petty and Tomlinson marking, the routine sideway pass to Salem.
Hibbos job on Dusty with Hunt and Langdon tandem sprinting downfield.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
