Kozzie and Dogga are the personalities that would step up and relish a finals atmosphere.

And Oliver to pick up from last week.

For sure.

I haven't mentioned another under the radar player, Bowey. Finals after, what, 4-5 games. What a story, reliability, efficiency, selfless, supportive. Keep that cool head, give us an out and hit up those mids. Would love him to get a goal.

Go Dees!

To the lucky demon fans living in SA who can go tonight, you are representing every fellow demon fan who cannot be there tonight. Just make more noise than the lion fans & when the boys run out tonight let them know the support is there. Have fun & lets hope we all see a victory

I have to admit that this game is more nerve-racking than the elimination final against Geelong in 2018. Before the elimination final against Geelong I didn't feel particularly nervous about what would happen because I was satisfied that we were able to make the finals in the first place. But today I feel extremely nervous because we finished on top of the ladder and my expectations are really high.

Not making up the numbers, this time

I'm not nervous yet. Maybe because we haven't been able to go to the games I feel a bit disconnected if that makes sense.

I think I'm more excited because for once we are the team to best & haven't just fallen into finals action. Maybe this will be our best chance yet.

Brisbane have bought in 2 very good ins but at least Hipwood isn't there. We just have to get off to a good start & not let them jump us.

With Harris Andrews, normally has a reasonable height advantage against most forwards, hopefully won't get that tonight with BB. Hope he can at least halve most contests.

If the rain comes as predicted at half time, I hope we are well up. Harder to score in the wet.

Will suit us. Lions are a fast high scoring team.

Rain and we will grind them down with our surge footy.

My left knee is tingling..

Ive got a feeling Trac is going to rip lions apart Dusty style.

I hope so. He has become a sidekick to Oliver over the past 12 weeks. Time to just reassert your dominance my man.

I don't think there's any egos left in our side. Sometimes I wish Trac and sometimes Kozzy would be more selfish because they are such rare talents but they are playing a selfless game all of them, and that's obviously what it takes to finish on top...

Hopefully it's enough to go all the way?

The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses. 2024 Player Reviews: #42 Daniel Turner

The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres
