That Jack Henry is one weird looking dude.

I can't help wondering if some of his relatives were in the movie Deliverance.

Maybe from some hamlet in the Ottways?

7 minutes to go Jeelong only kicking 5 goals for the game so far, you cannot underestimate the effect of the demon domination of them last week, jtjey are stuffed !

Geelong needing to front up again next week. Hamstrings are pinging as we speak.

He’s just about been BOG in team that has been soundly beaten.

Port can thank us for shattering their self confidence and any semblance of self belief.

A 6-day break to play Port on their home deck is really not the ideal finals draw. Chris Scott wanted to downplay the importance of our game last week but for an old side like Geelong, they surely would have wanted the extra day off and the chance to avoid Port.

I really feel Scott overestimated Geelong’s performance last Saturday night. You heard it through his post match comments, his coaches votes (he definitely gave 2 to Stanley after I heard him mention how good he thought he played against Gawn), and other commentary through the week. The fact is they played 10 good minutes for the game and Melbourne absolutely bashed them in the second half (in particular the last qtr).

It looks laughable in hindsight how he put forward the hypothesis that they basically were casting their attention to this week's games from the 3rd qtr last week. They look ordinary.

How important was Maxys goal?!

huge

That man is not a real bad substitute

Geelong continuing to play Dahlhaus and Higgins when Narkle and Constable can't get a game is pretty odd.

Dahlhaus is dog ordinary

So this will mean Geelong is now 6-14 in finals since the 2011 flag.

And I think 2 and 9 first week of finals

I was thinking, in a final, would an old head like Jones be good as a medical substitute?

As much as I dislike Port's supporter base, jeez its good to have crowds at the footy again.

Does Dangerfield think Aliir is on the same team? Picking him out like nobody’s business

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
