Crowd-noise guy is phoning it in.

Dogs need pace on the ball.

Gee Weightman is very good.

I’ve had a shot every time Brayshaw said Mitts, Dukes or Wheels.

needless to say I’m hammered

GREAT

I think this is the week where the AFL show there is no "bias towards WBD" in umpiring, by being bias towards an interstate team.

Watch for a swing in the finals.

Yep...AFL SPX right up there with the masters.....need to employ Industrial Light and Magic

The unfairness of free kick tallies. Sucks, doesn’t it Footscray?

Just like the song. Dude looks like a lady.

with a moustache.

Port are the worst top 4 side I can recall. The Bulldogs pretty much can't get the ball unless they win clearance. Port have murdered them in clearance and had more scoring f shots but Port's inability to convert their dominance sees them down.

Both sides are all clearance, little defence. The fact that Port's only plan is to bomb long to contests, they're very easy to defend. This is why they haven't managed to capitalise on the repeated inside 50s.

Yep. 20/10 frees against dogs at 3/4 time. Never seen that before, especially at home.

Another reminder for the Dees that straight kicking wins the crunch games.

I was stoked we kicked 16.8 last week after 9 inaccurate weeks.

Only 1 premier since 1990 has failed to kick more goals than behinds in at least one game in their respective finals series - and that was West Coast in 1994.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
