Does not look like a great crowd at the Swans game

Thought they would be getting more these days

They've decided to wait until the QB game and the chance to see the best team in the leagueย ?

Seb Ross with the worst miss of the year. Harder to miss than score

ย

Good lord the umpiring in this Swans Saints game is atrocious.ย

Need the saints to win.

Tonight I want to see the tigs win. The only time I will ever say that but I just want to see essendon lose.ย

Also I hope the crows smash Collingwood and make there week even worse.ย

Saints had that and dropped their bundle

Did they ever. Higgins has 2 goals a senior AFL player should kick. To miss them both was unforgivable.

Massive choke from Higgins. He'll be having nightmares tonight

St Kilda's season's got to be over, you'd think. At 5-7 they're going to have to go 7-3 at a minimum to make finals, but with their terrible percentage of 77.6%, they might need to go 8-2.

Their fixture includes Richmond, Brisbane (away), Port, West Coast (away), Sydney and Geelong (away).ย

I can't see it happening.

Just logged onto Kayo and caught the end of the Swans - Saints game. Whatย a dog's breakfast that St.K guernsey is.ย ย

Higgins 1-6. He completely rushed those last 2 shots. That last shot why didn't he take 30 seconds go back and take his time? Misses have literally killed there season.ย

Saints win that they would have jumped to 9th.ย

Saints will be playing out the rest of 2021 for draft picks. Their poorย percentage has put them out of the running and rightly so!

Not the t word WJ ?

St Kilda are so bad.

If Jack Higgins playedย for us, I would take him out the back and belt him. Disgraceful attempts at goal kicking with the game on the line. Embarrassing stuff.ย

Adelaide v Pies is a skill error celebration. Horrendous!

Amazing how we all have these wonderful conversations about how mental health. And yet seemingly educated people think its totally fine to sit at a keyboard and write this cr$p frankly and add to the culture of abuse.ย

You'd belt him? Ive got money on him taking you on and giving it back twice as bad. I dare say he's pretty cut up and wouldnt hold back.ย

Youโ€™re right that was an exaggerated tongue in cheekย call. But anyone else who was so poor at their chosen profession would be in trouble. He didnโ€™t even try to go back and actually line up for a set routine which I assume he would have practiced thousands of times. Or attempt to pass it on. Itโ€™s just inexcusable for a professional paid 6 figures!

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

  • VOTES: Richmond

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
