Jungle Game tonight:  Cats vs Tigers.

Can't bear to pick a winner.

Can only hope the Tigers lose simply because the more losses they have the harder their finals run will be.  They are more threatening in finals than the Cats.

As always love your work Luci.

However, I’m in the opposite corner tonight.
$1.57 for the Toiges was  good enough to overcome my hate for them !
Of course I hate the cats too , so I’m hoping for a bone crusher tonight.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how Richmond perform tonight under lights. This being only their 6th night game on the TV in 8 rounds.

What’s that you said about equalisation AFL? It certainly doesn’t play itself out on our TV screens.

??

Would hate to meet the tigers in a semi - keep them in the top 4 please.

Aside from the excitement of following the Dees at the moment I'm really enjoying the slow motion train wreck unfolding at Collingwood. We played North into form last weekend and I'm tipping them to roll the pies tomorrow. Hoping Jaidyn Stephenson can twist the knife and kick a swag of goals as well.

Richmond

St Kilda

Giants

Filth

MFCSS

Port

Cokers

Dogs

Bears.

Bugger, Jesse injured again. Wanted him to kick a bag against the Bombers.

Baker playing game 50. Two flags in that 50

any chance Jordon could replicate this?!?

I reckon we'll see Kozzie take a few like that. He has wound up a couple of times but hasn't quite got the timing right.

No doubt. But The Weid has to do it

I see the AFL have put the work experience kid in charge of choosing the umpires' uniforms again.

Richmond are playing and the umpires are wearing yellow and black.  Genius!

Hodge having to explain to a professional commentator what an intercept is.

Scott trying to play different tactics aside from slow kick stop is hilarious

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
