Worst part about Tmacs performance is that Baku Khamis is playing on him and beating him

We have never had a poor pre season to only go on and dominate the year.

Beating the premiers not good enough for ya?

Far out, bit less caffeine for some of you blokes I reckon.

Harmes also cooked. Absolutely does no damage

Really disappointed with his game today. Was he supposed to be on Bont? Just no leadership by him in there.

It’s a practice match right. Dogs seem intense compared with us.

No use tagging the Bont. He’s going to be out with leather poisoning

Red and blue witches hats.

All signs point to Omg.

Yea sure have stars out but all these blokes need to be able to play. Skills and intent missing by way too many.

Tmac should probably hang up the boots as should a few of these umps.

Every Dogs player must have a free by now.

What are Spargo's positives?

We’ve started with all the tenacity of a wet blanket. Midfield is absolutely getting destroyed and nice to see Bontempelli alone again.

I thought we learnt last year when he destroyed us. Without Clarry and JV, our midfield is struggling v Dogs.

Painful even for a practice game. Quite a few mids missing today but the ball movement and clearance work is still some of the worst in the comp. Its still hard to see what the intent really is and It seems the players feel the same way.

Baker, sparrow, harmes, spargo,  Vandenberg are a big no from me. Depth is really really poor

i know its a practice match and we have personnel missing but its not good signs. can't hit target cant hold tackles and wont chase hard enough

One thing that hasn't changed 3 dees up for the same mark

I know its early days but effort is effort

The cream is very clearly rising to the top. They are destroying us in every aspect of the game. We look lost.
Our skills are woeful. Mark Williams has a lot of work.

Hasnt been great but he chased more than many.

Makes you wonder what our game plan is this year. Seeing absolutely nothing that resembles a game plan. Cattle aside we should have some form of game plan or we are cooked as soon as we cop a few injuries

Ummmm.  He played a good 5 minute burst v Pies last year and kicked 3 goals ... then went missing for the rest of 2020. Surely hung on to a list spot by a whisker.

What's this learning thing you speak of?

Martin is a great pick up for them, can release English forward

Can’t see anything in Baker or Jordon to make me think either will be a player. Yeah, a practice match but for mine, they don’t have it unfortunately.

Remember when we traded him for SFA.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
