Stay with it to the end for a nice little piece that might be a topic of conversation for when he catches up with Stephen May at Demons training.

We have recruited a smart player with ability.

Long May he lead our attack!!

Obvious why North got rid of him, he is too articulate for the Shinboners.

It's funny how different an impression you can get of someone when you hear them speaking instead of it being BT wailing on about hair and run-ups whenever he comes on screen. ?

Move over Angus Brayshaw.

Can someone do a Brown mop / Gawn broom mash-up for a 2021 'Captain's Run' promo?

Hopefully Mike has signed up Adam Treloar for the coming season of open mike

Haven't you heard ? Mike has retired about 3 weeks ago when Gerard and Robbo  from AFL360 interviewed Mike in a final hour show on Fox 504.

We have brought in a brilliant character who is articulated and impressive in the way he conducts himself off field.

We have picked up a brilliant individual who play a crucial role in the development of Weideman and Jackson.

I haven’t watched the video yet, but it’s very common for people who are a little different to the stereotypical footballer to be ostracised.

Can imagine Glen Archer and BBB not seeing eye to eye because one’s a footballer only and the other has a reasonable IQ

Really like this guy. He's a stand up fella off field and he seems very real to me, and most importantly, he's a very good footballer.

Vaguely related; I found out a couple of years ago that Mike is a bit of a pants man. You wouldn’t know it, looking at/listening to him

I only ever knew BB, the very good footballer.  After watching that vid, I now have a tiny insight into BB the person.  What a well grounded young man he seems to be!  He will influence our culture in a good way, I reckon.

He has a bit more going on than just that. Fair to say, he shouldn’t be seen as a role model.

Interesting. Go on...

Well, if no-one else will...

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
