Lever solid? He's been the worst on ground.

Actually watch the game Dub....

Lever has been solid in 1v1s. His spoiling has been particularly good.

His turn over kick before was horrendous and turned the play.

But for the rest of the game, I'd agree that he's been one of our better contributors.

Disagree.

His turnover cost us a goal, and it was a shocker.

But he hasn't been beaten one on one, taken a few intercept marks and made plenty of important spoils.  Far from our worst.

Melksham and Viney on the other hand...

They are having a go, i agree. and its a good response, but leaders continually make mad decisions it doesnt help. the 4 in our leadership team have been awful.

Footy is a game of split seconds. Sometimes they just male the wrong decision

The appalling umpiring is enough to drain any hope of getting a 'fair go' on the football field. Especially when you see a thug like Mumford receive free kicks and get away with what the commentators drool over as 'big hits'. ?

Sorry lads I have to disagree. He's been no different Joel Smith tonight in terms of spoiling.

Would swap Weid with May.  I just can't see us kicking a winning score with Weid at FF.  We'll most likely lose anyways.

Time to flip them around and just have Weid defend as best he can across CHB.  Lever to FB.  Hide Smith on a flank.

Lets take it up to them by playing May across CHF and clunk a few marks or bring the ball to ground for Kozzy and Spargs.

We simply must trade Fritta & Melk at years end.  Both go missing for far too long and far too often in matches.

Where's Lockhart gone.  He has to be carrying something surely.  Just can't see how Nev gets a game ahead otherwise.

Anyone got one of those online defibrillators.

Honestly I don't feel well.

That's probably because I just a couple of glasses labelled "Romsey Manor"

Is that a real winery or one of those fortified jobs?

Just checked the fine print... WARNING- it has chemicals added and "may contain fragments of grape material"

But I love the nutty aroma. Reminds me of the last time my old Dad sprayed Roundup - and forgot the water.

I wish he was here

He plays like a millionaire. Doesn’t do the basics anymore which is what he did so well in his debut season. Has put his feet up after signing a contract.

We need to sign players up on shorter deals and keep them driven to excel.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. 2024 Player Reviews: #42 Daniel Turner

The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #8 Jake Lever

The Demon’s key defender and backline leader had his share of injuries and niggles throughout the season which prevented him from performing at his peak.  Date of Birth: 5 March 1996 Height: 195cm Games MFC 2024: 18 Career Total: 178 Goals MFC 2024: 1 Career Total: 5

2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
