Pickett has to get better in front of goal!

Imagine always having a quick player bursting off half back, something we've been lacking for a long time.

The Kozzie haters will hate that.....

The Kozzie talk this week has been ridiculous verging on embarrassing.

He’s played for a decade but Viney still doesn’t know his limitations. Not good enough!

agree ... it's time Jack .. bye bye

He should have given it back to Kossie and he could have done an end to end Wiz !

When you look at who the poster is that is driving that discussion, it makes some sense.

Umpires are making up free kicks now.

Kozzie looks dynamic through the middle. Might end up a brad hill type on a wing pushing forward.

That’s [censored] bull [censored]. Cheating [censored].

That is a horrible 50! Lever was already in mid air.

We simply don’t get enough penetration from snaps from goal.

that's the knock on Clarrie ... doesn't kill the oppostion by foot ... might have been non preferred but at elite level you kick those

Lol nice one maggot. Player signals fifty so he gives fifty. What a weak minded dog.

Absolute joke 50!
Umpires love GWS. Disgusting.

Should have had more Matrix like 'stop in mid air' ability

Good to see the umps can still come up with ways to pull ridiculous frees out of their rear end.

I swear to God. I absolutely hate AFL umpires. Spuds the lot of them. Absolutely hopeless.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
