My money is on after our first turnover for the night.

What is the real kicker is that the weather up there tonight is perfect.  Just rubbing salt in the wound.

Wise did you play in the DL side I coached?

No mate, I didn't.  Sorry!  Why do you ask?

Okay I'm just about to neck a full bottle of Johnnie Walker Red just so I can pass out ear.

Happy Saturday night y'all.

I thought I might know who you are, but obviously I don’t.

Can you stay sober long enough to start a thread on whoever stinks it up tonight?  We might need that in a few hours.

They produce some decent [censored] in that area. Some of the froggie's best but .... in reality world .... Aussie [censored] is better than most.

Been away from home a long time now with just a few visits back home every now and then.

Have grown to appreciate the old world wines with some favorite reds in Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley as well as the reds from Tuscany. Some very good drops around Europe.

Love the whites from Sancerre.

Is it just me or are they wearing the Proud to Belong jumper, but without any names on it...?

I've passed that baton onto my great mate @Elegt?

Yeah not expecting much either, have a run out, maybe get a kick and a bit of fun, jolly good time. Except for us.

No names on it because supporters aren't proud to belong after our last two games.

Well I’m here and appropriately hydrated which will help me in watching this shiiiit show.

Thanks Bundy Rum.

I'm surprised you passed it on to be honest.  I figured you might have smacked him on the head with it.

Wish I could look forward to watching Melbourne games. I just want the score these days. I already know it'll be a frustration filled, error riddled anger fest win lose or draw

I hope the game isn't as rough on you as that drop Ox.  It's wet and it all goes down the same way though so why not!

Here we go...

Regardless of the other results, are we going to show some heart?

Any actual pride?

Started with Melksham in the middle and Trac deep forward.  Don't mind that really.

Already looks slippery.

Hey we're having a no merger Diamond Joe era throw back with the flame tonight.  We're a chance here

Oskar baby!

Great goal. Am I the only one that doesn’t like this jumper?

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
