Time to call Fremantle and ask them for some advice as to how to kick a goal.

Time to call Fremantle and ask them how to pull a swifty with a contracted coach and a new coach - i.e. Mark Harvey (contracted) to Ross Lyon (poached); Simon Goodwin (contacted) to Alastair Clarkson (poach now)!

Umpires give it a break. This is not the umpires

Tom McDonald is useless.

Tom marks for the first time since 1976.... still waiting for his goal this decade

Stick a fork in me. I’m done.

We are the easiest team to coach against. Play an extra behind the ball or flood back and we turn to water and just bomb it long to opposition into repeat. The current coaching group must be the worst strategically in the league by a fair margin.

Seriously looks like Port are setting up with 40 players across the ground. Out of ideas at the moment we are.

Legit looks like they have twice the amount of players out there.

Who gives a [censored] if it's a report Hamish. You've got the vision right in front of you to see that there was nothing in it. Move on you moron

Oliver might be in strife there. Slow mo looked like he thought about retracting elbow but kept it up.

Contrary to  reports Big Tom is not a liability...

Hey guys, we might be bad now (like, really, really bad), but just you wait until we get our connection going! Then ooooh boy it's gonna be raining goals 24/7.

It affects the confidence when you feel like everything is against you. They aren’t impartial

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
