On our recruits

" Luke Jackson, a handy ruckman who can kick goals, Kossie Pickett, a nippy player who can also kick goals and Trent Rivers."

Look out for Kossie Trent!

Sorry my good friend who gave me some free tickets a few years back. I can't help you with your question/. I haven't been to a Western Demons event for a long time. Yes, I am a little ashamed to admit that. Cheers, Ethan.

Bobby are the Western Demons heading to the Paddington next season for game days or do they have a new venue?

The Paddo, good old pub was 1070m from my front door until I moved house

Well bugger me.  I always read the 'St' as Saint, like in St Kilda.

I bet you were. I’m on Fairfield, the pub being on the corner of Fairfield and Scarborough Beach Rd. Do you think with two kids under two I ever get there?! I was going to try to get down there next season if the Western Demons still use it as their venue, the kids will be a bit older so should be able to fend for themselves.

Probably correct demonstone I doubt the gentle nature of most Dees supporters would appreciate this rather coarse brew. Probably more to the taste of the average Pie supporter.

While I don't know the gentleman in question - other than from his many sordid posts - it doesn't surprise me one little bit Moonie.

But if you said he usually guzzles chardy with his brie on crackers - now that would have really shocked.

That would be a stretch too far for our Uncle Bitters. He might look 'fancy', but on the inside he's just a rough, uncouth bogan

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
