Where's Jayden Hunt?? Hasn't touched the ball for 3 weeks now

In the backline for some unknown reason when he was doing well up forward. Meantime Hore is in the VFL.

The problems with this club run so so deep. We have a name, a logo and a jumper, but we don't actually stand for anything.

Some things you can allow for, forgive and understand, but the lack of fight when things are tough and belief in each other (not just talking about the players btw) are all just emblematic of an organization that exists just to survive, not to succeed.

I believe that can only be changed by leadership club-wide. The closest we've had to a ruthless, wants-to-win leader has been PJ. Goodwin has become a PR artist, Bartlett just wants the "me time", Pert is invisible and our co-captains aren't directional leaders and are so limited as footballers that they struggle to lead by example anyway.

Wasn't expecting a win today of course, but the way we have just wandered through this year says a lot about who we really are.

Lever is having a stinker. Needs a pre season to get himself right.

Can’t have a player who can intercept to come in and impact 2 first rounder Levers opportunities.

McCartney words....This playing group is probably at a third of its development … but a lot of the initial hard work has been done,” he said.

“The growth and development in this club over the past four or five years has been extraordinary.”

so extraordinary that Pies keep scoring from our dumb mistakes, poor skill errors..

it's all secret squirrel coaching  ;)

Collingwood supporters standing near me love fritsch. they cant work out why we hit the flank every tine we go mark across half forward. we wait for them to flood. this season is a carbon copy of 2003.

hunt seems to be running around like a headless chook never actually impacting the contest

People have to go over Summer

Players and Officials

Funnily enough i thought we were a sneaky chance today. Good judge.

It’s just horrific how bad we are when the ball is turned over

Collywobbles are playing with us.

Embarrassing stuff. Most embarrassing is the coaching and match ups.

can we talk about the crowd? even Collingwood supporters haven't turned up. 35k imo.

Petty the only one willing to fly the flag!!

And just a rookie!   What does that tell you about our leaders.  Both should be de-frocked and a new leader (Gawn) in place for 2020.  May as VC.

Surely we are just trying to raise value of some players in hope to get a 3rd rounder in a trade Omac, Hunt, Hibberd ect. We are surely taking the [censored] playing them otherwise.

Gone Skiing too

Jake Lever should ask for a pay cut. Miocek is only on half his salary and giving him a bath.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
