Has this been the most biased commentary you've ever heard?  Cameron Ling wants to boof every one of the Tiger players up the [censored].

Mate, when you have a team playing as bad as us, what do you expect? Honestly, if I was in the Box I would be tearing our pi$$ weak players a new one. Pea hearts the lot of them.

I’ve been critical of Goodwin so far this year, but he made some positive moves today imo, but the skills have been possibly the worst I have seen from a Melbourne side for a decade, and that’s saying something. So many fumbles and missed handballs. Can’t blamed Goody for that [censored].

What were the positive moves ? Any simpleton could coach to stop the bleeding which didn't hold up in the end anyway. Forward line was no existent & ball movement was just bomb away. I think he has a [censored] load to answer for tonight & the other 5 weeks

It's like that for all our games. AFL sanctioned of course.

Totally agree.

Does the afl want the cash for the fake tanking fine? Why is there so much bias against us

So he had nothing to do with the high press being put back in place at the start of the last? Hes not in charge of the midfield setup coach? The players effort lacks when the games gone. The jogging after they waltz through our setup hurts from certain players, it wouldnt make any difference to that play, but they could effect another contest. It would be hard giving opponents such a headstart every time.

FCS ignore umpires, ignore commentators. We have so many issues with our list and personnel.  Our list is putrid, it is not a list capable of outside run and retaining the ball by foot. Recruiting has been putrid.  So many VFL standard players.

Frustrating to watch full time professional footballers play like suburban amateurs. They are trying but the skills are deplorable and they work together like a group of tradies that get to train once a week together, if they have the time.

There are no systems down back, up forward and now our midfield group doesn’t seem to have any cohesion.

Question recruitment.  Wow last year Jason Taylor was the MAN. I argued otherwise and get shot down.  Too many plodders. Dumb players. We need soldiers that will run til their guts ache.

We need skilled footballers.  I could cut 25 blokes tomorrow.

For me, our forward movement was consistently butchered by fumbling and missed handballs. You say the forward line was non existent but the ball barely even made it there due to handling errors. Not sure what the inside 50 count was, but they had pretty much doubled us last time I saw it.

I’m not really sticking up for Goody, as I’ve been very critical of him, but there’s nothing he can do about those handling errors. It was amateur hour out there.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
