Hore been very good

Its ridiculous how easy we get scored against on the rebound though

Disapointing start with 3 late goals from sloppy possession by us and clean by them. I bet the oppo have that sticky stuff on their hands whereas we don't. Hopefully sopmehting changes after quarter time.

I’m missing Bachelor in Paradise for this!!!!

Fuming!

absolute garbage toast. Can’t even win contested ball now. Poor performers all round.

A little credit to Trac though he’s having a dip.

Unacceptable from the mids.

This is just frighteningly bad. Something smells off about this. Reminds me of previous regimes when things were about to implode.

Even the commentators have noticed how bad we are when the ball is on the ground.

Sydney are so clean but we struggle to keep the ball in front of us let alone pick it up without fumbling.

It's frightening how hard this hits home

The Nathan Jones effort to grab the Tom McDonald kick across the backline, albeit a crap kick, really is a great example of where we are at.

Didn't seem to care about getting the ball...was more focused on giving McDonald a stare down.

Can Oscar just [censored] off already? Give me Petty. Give me Keilty. Anyone but that guy.

Disgraceful game of footy. Jones and OMAC have to be dropped. We look like the bottom side.

How can you all  put with this shithouse umpiring it absolutely reeks

I’m not an umpire blamer but they got some gifts

Kieren Jack lifted his arm to turn a legal tackle into an arm over shoulder. Thought that was to be play on?

That was the Melksham of old there!

Lovely finish from Harmes as well.  More of that, please.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
