A weekend of feeling dirty coming up providing we win. Barrack for Filth, GW$ and Cats, although unlikely any of them will get up. Cats likeliest to cause an upset against Dockers.

If it doesn’t go to plan for us I’ll be cheering for Freo hard in the last round to knock Norf out of finals.

One of our Toughest games of this season, IS coming up in RND 2.

Scott was fuming when we pantsed the pusssies in the Finals.  He Will want footy revenge.

Scott can carry on as much as he likes along with the holy trinity, we will smash them.

Damn that was a frustrating first three quarters. To totally dominate and get not much of anything in the first, and then get clawed away at for the rest, that's not what anyone is looking for.

Too much trouble being decisive and making good connections once the packs form. And, yeah, the eternal goal accuracy problem.

Really want to crush them in the final quarter, remind everyone that we deserve the finals spot.

Interesting game to watch but the skill level is horrendous!

It’s a win just! No thanks to the umpire who pulled that rediculous in the back free to the Dogs at the end, could have changed the result.

And the too high a minute earlier. The two blokes umpiring were appalling.

I actually enjoyed watching that on tv tonight. We should have been much further ahead at 1/4 time. But well done to Tegan Cunningham who kicked the winning goal.

But gee there was no way that free kick count should have been that far apart.

I didn't realise it was on TV.   The CH7 advertising is poor for AFLW imo.

I saw the last 5 mins or so.   Number 10 & 22 helped us get the ball back forward again, and tall No1 did the job.   We have some speed in the side.

I send a special congradulations to miss C. We should have won by more and were far better than the dogs. I look forward to the Adelaide game.

It hurts looking at the ladder(s), Dogs should be relegated to Division B and they can play for promotion, while the top 4 in Division A play for the flag.

Thoroughly deserved win by the ladies today. Gutsy!

Zanker's goal is one for the ages.  She could easily win GOTY.  It wasn't flashy like some contenders will be but she kicked true from 40m out, on the boundary line where not much daylight was visible between the goal posts.

She will be a champ.

The conference's are a disgrace.

The 4 best teams this year are clearly

Adelaide, north, Freo and us.

Brisbane beating the dogs Is the only time conference b has beaten anyone from conference a.

That 2 of these 4 teams should miss out on finals, and that one of Geelong  Carlton or Brisbane will get a home final is a disgrace.

I am so disappointed about yesterday's game that I can't even get upset about the conference system any more.

Simply put we blue it yesterday!  Kicked ourselves out of the finals in the first quarter.  Sure they had the run of the umps all day but more accuracy for goal (1.5 to their 0.0) in the first quarter should have shut the door on them before they could get a look in.  We played brilliantly in the first quarter and they didn't even manage a rushed behind!

Not sure what happened after qtr time but we didn't seem to know we were playing for a finals spot ie %age, not just a win.  This lack of awareness showed in the post match celebrations of the win.  Sure a win was nice but nothing to celebrate under the circumstances.  I bet if Daisy was there she would have worn the greatest scowl on the siren, that a great opportunity went begging.

For the 3rd year in a row we will probably miss finals by %age and it is entirely our fault.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
