Sorry Redleg havent heard of the movie Black Swan and I go to plenty of Flicks at the Cameo Belgrave, Top 4 Actresses on the planet. Seriously?

Judie Dench  Angelina JolieCharlize TheronJulia RobertsCameron Diaz Dakota Fanning, Helen Mirren, Daryl Hannah, Jamie Lee Curtis

is she better than any of these?? I would sincerely doubt it !

I presume you mean her acting talent? Well she is certainly not better than Judy Dench, Helen Mirren and probably Julia Roberts, but Daryl Hannah, seriously?

She has won an Oscar for best actress and is a top box office draw. Is Daryl Hannah still playing mermaids?

To those poo pooing this because you haven't heard of her do not discount the "free" publicity things like this generate. She is A-list in  Hollywood and this has gained a lot of media attention and gives the brand a small bump.

All the online media outlets had our jumper front and centre for a few minutes in the 24 hour media cycle and I'm sure all the papers will have our jumpers front and centre (well maybe on the back page) tomorrow. This seemed to fall in our lap and I'm always jealous seeing other teams with celebs sporting their jumpers.

Most definitely not going to win us a premierships, bring in memberships or make us money but it's better than being totally irrelevant and it's nice to see positive stories particularly after our bystander status during the draft.

Often it seems they get a photo op with a celeb in a jumper then off they go (the celeb)...

At least she seemed to be involved a bit more than that, hanging around having chat with the coach and others.

Daryl married Neil Young recently hahhaha.

She was incredible in Black swan and is an A lister for a reason .

Two worlds collide I reckon the boys would have been puffing their chests out .

If you have not heard of her, rent Black Swan and fast forward to the good bit.

There's  a good bit?

Would imagine iSelect would be very happy, Zurich not so much , although there may have been other factors.

Welcome to a winning team Demons supporters.  Soak it in and I hope the club milks it for everything it is worth as these sort of things are what will help keep us finacial against the mega clubs (until we can become one).

I won't be anything like satisfied until we have won that ever elusive flag, but I think we need  all need to get use to being one of the good teams again.

It seems this fell in our laps and she just rocked up with friends. Kudos again to whoever was able to iron on the Portman onto the Daisy guernsey in record time for the photo op. Seems like Pert got on the scene very quickly to throw down the welcome mat.

Not in your video library, BBO?

Shocked.

Well Steve, I suppose the most tactful way to put this, is to say that my video library is non mainstream.

And fortunately BBO, Natalie has never heard of you or the Manor.

Her loss Ernie. However, having now had a perv, I'd happily present her with a gold award.

She was awsome in The Professional, though I must admit that it was that movie which solidified my man-crush on Jean Reno.

Great film  "The Professional",  loved it...  and agreed Jean Reno. I love his acting style.

Daryl Hannah was a STANDOUT in Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" playing a Renegade Replicant that the Tyrell Corp allowed to get with advanced programming... Out of hand. A bit like Demonland on occasions!

Apocolyptic and moving, She was outstanding!!

Sorry, Natalie WHO??

Dare say one of the more attractive Dees fan I have seen.

I think all girls look prettier in a Melbourne jumper. Natalie naturally pretty.

Forget Black Swan and get The Professional.

As usual we stoop and postulate to an essentially quasi celebrity!! Spare me!

Can we get Clint Eastwood to come onboard??
Now that really would be .. something!

Haha. Cameron Diaz? Seriously? It's not 2002, Picket. Not sure about Hannah or Lee Curtis on that list either.

Portman's film Annihilation this year could have been one of the best films made this century if the studio hadn't [censored] around with it. Check it out on Netflix, but it looks like you'd prefer The Children Act, given the actresses you've mentioned. That's also on right now. You'll be able to get it at Cameo.

Please keep Hollywood degenerates away from our training.

You're a strange fellow at times, HH. FWIW, Portman does a lot of incredible community work.

Such as iSelect being our AFLW sponsor and Zurich not being?

Not to turn this thread into a film critique thread. But that movie just did not know what it wanted to be.

On another note, great PR for the Dees today. The Star Wars stuff was fun, but they shouldn't push it any more, just enjoy the free marketing they got today. Don't look desperate.

The 80s called. They want to know how you are accessing the internet. ?

She's about a 6 or 7 at best.

When I trained there were rows of these desperate ,lonely, young  women watching me move across the turf like a Lion.

I felt like a piece if meat, only there for their visual stimulation. As if my brain and my thoughts were secondary to my physique.

Most of those young girls only wanted to know me for one thing.None of them took any interest in my intellect or my worldly ideas.

Sadly ,those days are gone.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
