I done this on another thread but here I go again

1 Pruess - The Strawbs\Stynes combo

12 Kolodjashnij - Taking over Tyson

27 May - I changed my mind with this one. Rivers, Inga and Wight have worn the same number.

46 Walker

50 Bradtke - The same as his old man.

40, 41 and 43 rookies

16 - first pick

21 - tall forward

23 - second pick

32 - Bedford

37 - pick 91

Hopefully number 1 will get a rest for a year or two.

He went to Freo, it’s similar to dying but he’s not dead.

Why? Expectation? Respect for Jesse?

Good question, I am not sure.

Perhaps rather a Jinx.

Aside from Dennis Cordner way back in the ether, there have not been many great successes at the Club in this jumper. Certainly not in the last 50 years.

For me, Jesse's time in that jumper was a disappointment.  And it spent a considerable amount of time in the locker.

Walker is a category B rookie and Bedford is a Academy selection

I have no problem with a 111 in the team. I'm sure @Supermercado would approve.

It's KK47 or I riot.

Serious question - are there actually AFL rules that state numbers must be single or double digits only?

(If not, I am 100% certain that some would be created on the run)

As long as he doesn't change his name to Andrew........AK47

A player changing name for a number gag would be the best thing since we almost drafted Freddie Clutterbuck

Keep 23 open for a potential Kelly deal >:)

16 May - 12 Kola - 37 Pruess with 21 - 27 - 32 - 40 - 43 for the draft picks

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
