Players can't be traded without their agreement, and certainly can't be "on-traded" as you suggest. Picks can be, but not players.

Usually done indirectly with three-way trades involving draft picks

And btw, living in Cockburn has to be better than living with it.

Surname of a mate of mine.

Funnily enough his girfriend's name is Sandy.

Pmsl

Fremantle have come out now and said they're not accepting pick 4 for Lachie Neale as he is still contracted.

Yet is happy to show Hogan around their facilities while contracted..

Hypocrisy at its finest..

Bunch of fuckwots

That must rub her up the wrong way.

Listening to Steve Rosich on Trade Radio was quite puzzling, not to mention delusional. Reckons they want to keep Neale and won't accept pick 4. Currently they have picks 5 and 77? And been linked to Hogan, Lobb, Duncan, Conca......so they are going to have to give something up somewhere along the line this year.

bahaha - absolutely

Although, I did once come across a person with the last name '[censored]' - who insisted it was pronounced Coke.

We agreed to disagree.

I work with a bloke who shares the same last name, unfortunately his parents called him Phillip. School must have been terrible. Really nice bloke and funny as $&*%.

I just hope don't cave in and accept pick 5 only..

Freo are no doubt trying to negotate for something extra for Neale like a second rounder.

good news is that every argument they use with Brisbane we can throw back in their face with Hogan

Would be a disasterous result for a contracted player of Hogan’s talent. I have faith the quality people we have won’t allow that to happen.

It would be a disaster to accept a single pick, however there is no reason to suggest that Freo don't offer pick 5 and next years first year pick would be similar type of pick (5-9)

Good luck trying to get a fair deal from the clown Josh...

The puzzling things about the advocates for only pick 5 from Fremantle is the idea that Hogan has somehow gone down in value since he was drafted.

Picks 3 and 14 for Hogan, Dom Barry and Pick 20.

Hogan has gone on to win the rising Star Award and kick 152 goals from 71 games.

With the draft still a lottery, surely Hogan's value has increased over the past 6 years...

I'm gonna lose my [censored] if we let him go for just pick 5. Meltdown warning.

I hope Jessie signs with the Dees for another 3-5 years!

Fluff off Fremantle!

The bloke who designated himself list manager for the trade period. This is like Eddie being In charge of Collingwood for the trade period. It’s an absolute joke. If he stuffs up the hogan signing he should also hand in his resignation

Dockers playing hard ball on Neale. Assume they play just as hard with what they give up for Hogan.

Maybe it's a sign that they know what they need to cough up for Hogan,  and are trying to ease the pain with an extra pick for Neale

I can see a stalemate coming on with both Neale and Hogan staying put for another year.

Trade with eagles who will have two first rounders to send our way.

Sign Hoges for another 5 years and yes we will trade him home if they pay up .

He is a good bloke wont mind hanging around for a few more.

Or, we just accept their pick 5 and next years first and future trade next years freo’s first and this years second rounder for May.

Or think Kelly next year as a restricted free agent, if GWS match us having the dockers and our own first round pick available next year pretty much makes it a done deal to us :)

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
