19 disposals at 42% efficiency

(9 pts also not 15% btw)

If he could kick, we win and play finals

Check the stats and then start posting again.

Hogan kicked badly today but to say he should be dropped is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Someone mentioned he is low on confidence??! He kicked 4.1 last week.

Perspective - against the Suns

Out:  Hunt, Garlett, Pedersen.

In: Melksham, Hibberd, Hannan.

Jones to go to HBF.

Jones to go to under 12s at Glen Iris Gladiators.

Drop Jones, Garlett. Play Fritsch forward. Move ANB in the middle, alternate with Trac.

Bring in Hibberd, Milshake.

Oliver to captain.

Ahh what? You want to drop Jones but yet keep this buffoon in? Same bloke that kicked it straight to a swan 7 times and then cracked his decks in the middle of the MCG from a Petracca kick?

Wow..

Maybe...

Care to share some insight as to why?

fair response.

Out: Hunt(probably injured), Spargo

In: Melksham, Hibberd,

(maybe JKH or Garlett for Hannan or Kent) what do other people think?

For the love of god - open your eyes and watch the game!

I did.. its clearly ypu didn't.

IN

Kent -  played well and kicked three for Casey yesterday.

Melksham  -  automatic inclusion if 100%.  His ball use was sorely missed today.

Hibberd   -  another obvious inclusion if he's right to go.  His hardness and run out of defence have been missed during his absence.

OUT

Spargo  -  has a future, but was a 'rabbit in headlights' today.  Some finals experience at Casey is due.

Hunt -  I liked his inclusion on Friday, but was clearly 'underdone' and way out of form today.  My bad!  Probably out injured anyway.

Peddersen  -  again I liked his selection on Friday, but realistically, he was only ever holding the fort for Hibberd / Smith.  Solid gap-filler over the years but time has caught up.

Thin ice

Garlett had a stinker today, but was among our best 6 to 8 last week.  He gets a reprieve for mine

JKH was just adequate, and I can't see an obvious replacement.  Hannan maybe, but to me he doesn't seem to work hard enough, end to end.

Others also had disappointing games today, but no point in 'throwing out the baby ........... '.

anyone who can't kick.

clayton oliver missed a vital goal.

tom mcdonald also

hogan missed a heap..

garlett too

jones..

bloody disgraceful.

story of our day

I'm not sure Hibberd is right to go yet.

I hope we don't rush him in because on the off chance we make finals he is vital to us putting up some kind of a show.

Out = mind-numbingly dumb footballers

In = Ashburton thirds.

Ashy haven't got a thirds Fourths will have to suffice!

Clearly will be the two ins with Hibberd and Melky and I would have thought Hannan, Wags, Weid, Kent and Bugg are all in the mix for a recall as well although I can't see them all returning in one hit.

The three likely outs by my reckoning are:

Hunt - Injured his ankle ligaments again I think, but let's wait and see what club says on this.

Pedo - Replaced Smith as we tried going big, but he just wasn't able to play that intercepter role and you have to wonder what selectors were thinking in picking him as a third defender against a small side like the Swans. With Hibberd out, Wags was the logical like-for-like choice. Further to this Oscar got the easy second-tall gig on McCartin and that meant his confidence and standing rose as Pedo's fell.

Spargo - I love his workrate but I reckon his two shots that ended up short make it hard to justify him at such a  young age.

Then the club has to decide whether they can afford to again play Hoges and Garlett  who have been unable to have an impact in big games, although both have been mega-impressive in our easy wins.

Ousting them means a major restructure of forward line late in season.

If Hoges is too sore, then I actually think Weids can do a fairly good job of replacing him.

In. Melksham. Hibberd. Kent.

Out. Spargo. Pedersen. Hunt.

Pretty obvious this week.

Spargo isn’t ready. I said a few weeks ago he wasn’t strong enough to stick tackles. Today it was his lack of composure and inability to kick 40m. Just not ready.

Seeriously 40 meters … try 30 not ready and as I have said elsewhere has NO PACE!

This is spot on.. recon Jesse will miss through injury-  if so I’d go a smaller forward line and bring Hannan in.

Inns  HIBBO  MILKSHAKE  KENT

Outs  Spargo JKH ANB  (Jeffy last chance absolutely putrid today!)

Yeah okay. If hogan injured then pederson stays in and plays down forward. One last chance for Garlett.
