Any update on Hogan ankle?

That answer your question ?

Salen cost us all the time with poor disposal

now this is the time you tweak your game plan and take say 10% more risk ... 2 goals and the game is over

Spargo is basically what AVB was/is. Gotta feel for VB.

Spargo a smart footballer. Couldn't hit ANB bit put it to advantage.

re a thread this week.....

From the AFL site:

Nathan Jones was terrific for the Demons in the third quarter. He lead all players on the ground with nine disposals, 200 metres gained, six contested possessions, four clearances and five score involvements.

Jones also in the top 5 in some of those stats so far this match (to 3 quarter time).....

Score Involvements....

1.  Gawn (8)

2.  Jones (7)

3.  Hannan (6)

4. Tyson , Brayshaw, Harmes (5)

Meters Gained

1.  Hibberd (501)

2.  Jones (393)

3.  Hunt (367)

4.  Salem (355)

5.  Melksham (294)

What role as Tyson played today? He seems to be playing very deep defensively.

Really you don’t think we have it yet!? We’ve almost doubled their score!

How bad are essendon? We are mediocre at best they make us look good. They will be the story.

Loving having Macca back.

This is gonna be a weird fixture every year.

Correction we have doubled their score. No team has ever came back from a 3rd point margin this great

At least your banner was funny you dogs.

Essendon is tripe, but we fixed some problems within the game which is always a good sign, and some of the additions have played well (e.g. Spargo, Hannan).

One thing we should acknowledge is we've had a ridiculously good run from the umpires.

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions.
