Adelaide with 9 changes last night puts the MFC to shame

Donā€™t tell me the club is too inexperienced, itā€™s a cop out. Train the players to follow team structures and to win.Ā

allowing a side to kick 15 of 16 goals on our home deck is just ā€œLazinessā€ and ā€œi donā€™t care enoughā€

Many here will disagree and tell me i am impatient, tell me its rebuild 39 and will take time. (That old cop out)

Go away and accept mediocraty somewhere else. Adelaideā€™s coach was murdered not long ago and they can still function.Ā

Get your shite together this season Goodwin, you have had the best coaching transition in AFL History.Ā

Use it, donā€™t waste it

After last years GF debacle where they didn't show up followed up by last weeks poor effort against the Pies I'm sure there were people onĀ Crowland Ā calling for Don Pyke's head.

A week's a long time in football.

I am sure you are right.Ā

My point is a bunch of no names came into the side last night and did the job

Sydney crucified last night, must have been a hellofer letter they sent to Umpires Board last week.........

Paddy McCartin is a dead ringer for Robbie ā€œMad Dogā€ Muir

He was one scary bastard. Could play occasionally when his temper allowed it

Cameron : 15 metres out, directly in front....shank. What is wrong with the majority of todayā€™s forwards.

They are buggered from so much running ?ā€ā™‚ļøĀ

has to be

McCartin has ran himself under the ball 5hree times in the second half (5 mins gone in last qtr)

So glad saints took him.

GWS slowly getting on top.

Occasionally you see a glimpse of the running game but their players lack the strength to break tackles

Ā They have wonderful agility that does allow them to evade a tackle.

Just no good against close checking

Amazingly the saints are still in this game

Carlisle double grabs ball and Davis spoils with 2 secs... Draw!

Carlisle should have snaffled that mark.Ā  Saints fans are booing but the spoil from Davis was fair.Ā  They should be booing Carlisle instead.

Lousy game but great ending

Definitely not a mark, hit his hands and bounced straight out of them.Ā

Would have got it on 2nd attempt but for bad interference from Davis. Carlisle's only offence not wearing a hawthorn jumper.

Exciting finish with Saints GWS.

Ā

classic Dwayne commentary in game ā€œGreat crowd here, Saints fans are like diamonds, you just canā€™t crush themā€

Ā

a bit later, ā€œThis game deserves a bigger crowd, a disappointing crowd of 14,xxx hereā€

Ā

the guy is an absolute moron and should not be commentating!

There was no arm chop at all. Iā€™ve rewound it a few times on Foxtel, Davisā€™ arms didnā€™t even make contact with Carlisleā€™s.Ā

Nah. Not in those circumstances. Maybe in the first quarter. He should have taken it at the first grab anyway.Ā

So sick of the Eagles, and they will be 4-1 and on top of the ladder if they beat the Blues.

This is one game I will be happy to see Carlton win.

Would LOVE if Carlton win.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0ā€“4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demonsā€”but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players."Ā This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday nightā€™s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes.Ā He wasnā€™t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this weekā€™s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals.Ā But donā€™t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- ā€œThey canā€™t run. If you canā€™t run at speed and get out of the contest then youā€™re in trouble.
