GAME DAY - ROUND 4

Featured Replies

Game over.

Since we haven’t kicked a goal since the first quarter, I can’t belive we’re not further behind on,y 27 points. 2 goalless quaters.

Clarko tearing Simple Simon a new one.

He can't coach for shlt.

Just fold melbourne. You are a nothing club. Always have been. Always will be

8 in a row to Hawks. Pathetic MFC. Goodwin couldn’t make a change if his life depended on it

Yet again a complete inability to spread. When we have it there are 36 players in 1/6th of the ground, so it's kicked to a contest time and time again. This game plan is utterly inefficient and useless.

Eight goals to none.

Awesome work dees.

Love this club but nothing has changed - dumb decisions, lacking skill especially in the wet, slow, lazy, passengers, poorly coached at many levels.....etc, etc, Not close to a finals side. And then theres Bugg.....WTF is he doing in the AFL.

[censored] off Goodloss. You are another Neeld.

why are we so dumb

Stupid is as stupid teaches

Surely the board must be considering looking for a new coach. This is crap coaching

Holding the man and kicking in danger not in vogue this week obviously. Unless you play for hawthorn.

Melbourne don’t know how to play in the wet. Have been terrible. Disgrace not to kick a goal for two quarters when you have a small forward line in the wet. Are they aware the ball will slide on when defending. Rubbish

But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
