And Clarries play on.

He didn’t think it was 15, neither did I.

Was Clarries mark a mark, I assume he thought it was play on.  It was a very short kick but I can never be sure nowadays on how they call it.

Just now, Chris said:

Firstly f you for using the word ‘tard’ And secondly we weren’t far off while missing some of our best. We also had glaring weaknesses to work on.

'Sup Tard?

We lost, deal with it princess.

Plenty more to come, even if we do make finals.

Gutted but not despondent ....... but it takes 4 quarters of our best, not three and a bit, to beat the decent teams.

We had it Batman, Gawn just choked.

He didnt choke, it was just a crap kick

[censored] that sucks, but we can only blame ourselves. Why Tyson and Brayshaw where never selected instead of Wagner and Maynard I will never know.

Yes we did lose, and if you wish to continue insulting disabled people the world over then good for you, instantly shows you for the lowlife you must be.

I think he must’ve thought it didn’t go far enough.

To be fair, that kick didn't go 15, so he played on not to get caught.

At the end of the day, 3/4 of decent football doesn't cut it. We still haven't learned anything by our fade outs last year (astounding given it cost us a place in the finals).

No point looking over all the singular moments that could've changed the result, it was Gawn's to win and he couldn't handle finishing it off. No point taking the great grab if you can't kick it from 30 out directly in front.

Missing out on the 8 by half a % and now losing this game right off the bat. Insane

Max ??

What exactly do you think tard means halfwit?!

Im happy by the way (except for the footy) and it isn’t me showing the world im an uneducated halfwitted moron who doesn’t even understand the meaning of the words they say.

Then perhaps you could explain what “tard” refers to?  Having a mentally retarded family member, I do find it quite offensive, regardless of what your intent may or may not be.

Were they really burning after missing the 8

not hungry enough for the win

ins  brayshaw Tyson frost

outs. Hannan Maynard Wagner

Effort was there for 3 quarters and we had our chance.  Thought Fritsch looked promising, and ignoring the miss Gawn looked great.  Lever lost 3 of his first 4 one on ones and really didn’t see how Wagner made best 22 at selection, and reckon it cost us on the day.  Sucks so much, but we got back into it and almost snatched it back...

Couldn’t get over a couple of the last quarter Lewis efforts - some straight-forward handballs were just awful, tired and effortless - just bobbed up and were plucked straight out by Cats players.

lol if you have never heard the word "fargtard" (sic) than you have lead a sheltered life.

ZERO to do with disabled people. Nobody but pathetic virtue signaler would whine like you did.

Maynard was decent and Hannan woke up after halftime. I don't know why people just pick on Maynard

We blew it with our traditional “go to sleep for an entire quarter” malaise

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
