Carlton tightened up int he 2nd to be expected.  They are fitter so I if they push to space Carlton won't match them through the 4th.  Gotta win by 82 to move to top and give a buffer for next week.

Previous best would have been 5.4.34 to Bulldogs against Carlton 0.0.0 in the second quarter of Round 4, the same round we copped a belting from Collingwood.

First time at an AFWL game and must admit the standard from us was very good. Demon Army in full voice.

Like @DemonAndrew stated, Cunningham will be something special. She’s exciting to watch and Carlton have to infringe to stop her.

Lets hope they keep it up, big two weeks coming up for our club.

We are thrashing them all over the park except the scoreboard.  Must convert the advantage in the final quarter.

We went long and direct in 1st term and then started to go shorter and it shows on the scoreboard. Couple of easy shots missed.

There aren't many win/lose combos next week when our %age will come into play - see the 'Run Home' thread after the siren.

And that’s that - a 35 point win which sounds great but if percentage plays a role next week, we might rue not pushing harder during this game after leading by 38 points at quarter time. But a win is a win is a win.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
