Roaming CHF is his go and I think this year he'll prove why he's been so highly rated. Combine that with TMac leading out from the goalsquare and Garlett and Petracca and our forward line looks like a strength for the first time since Neitz retired.

With Tommy Mc's aerobic capacity, don't you think it would be a waste just having him lead from the goal square like an old fashioned full fwd, it is 2018 after all

You will find Hogan and Tommy Mc rotating, which hopefully will be a mare to defend

Bloody camps. It's outrageous. They shouldn't have them. Someone needs to ring the AFLPA. Just stick to Goschs. This would never have happened if they'd just stick to training there.ย ย

I agree IT! it is pissing down up there as well, made the ground slippery which would not have happened at Goschs where the weather is beautiful and firm under foot.

Insert why can't we have both gif

He was recruited as a key forward, heโ€™s getting paid a key forwards and we need a key forward who excels in all aspects of the game that a forward of his size should.ย ย

Fark!ย  Can we just shut up about the camp thing?ย  Kidย gets knocked out in a match sim, hope he is OK.ย  Its a tough game, and I want the Demons to play it tough.ย ย

Yeah, it would be nice if the guy (Danny Trejo) would revert to his Machette persona.

Agree, with Petracca and Max and the other mobile tall (Hannan?)ย they will all rotate forward and through the midfield at times and would make it very hard for opposition defenders.

I think we may go in with Tommy doing a bit of relief ruck work. Although not sure if he's been doing any ruck craft?

That would be a very unpredictable forward set up.

Any reports? Did anyone goย

Hi Brendan. I strolled down for a few hours this morning. It was a little bit wet which was annoying because Iโ€™d just bought a new pair of suede loafers that I was looking forward to breaking in. I think they look nice with white slacks which are cuffed at the bottom. I caught up with a Goody almost straight away. I noticed he was wearing the same polo shirt as he wore on the flight up. I asked if he only brought the one shirt on the trip, he just got up and walked away. Heโ€™s a bit of a jokester like that.ย

The team split into two groups in preparation for a non-contact match simulation. Apparently Tyson forgot the bibs so they were deciding on how to differentiate betweenย the teams, I yelled out that the team with Petracca should just go shirtless.ย

After the game the playersย headed inside to the gym. I asked who could bench press the most, apparently Pedo and Frost are tied. Their max bench is about my weight so I said Iโ€™d be happy to have a bit of a competition between the two and see who could bench me. Unfortunately it was a closed door session so I had to leave.ย

Tommy Mc, Pedo and Kielty do a bit now and again to keep their hand in, so to speak

Thanks Ethan. Us interstaters always appreciate the inside word.

Feels like I was there.

It appears the club does read Demonland. They'll be having an open training session at Casey on the 17th Feb. A Saturday!!!

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
