Roaming CHF is his go and I think this year he'll prove why he's been so highly rated. Combine that with TMac leading out from the goalsquare and Garlett and Petracca and our forward line looks like a strength for the first time since Neitz retired.

With Tommy Mc's aerobic capacity, don't you think it would be a waste just having him lead from the goal square like an old fashioned full fwd, it is 2018 after all

You will find Hogan and Tommy Mc rotating, which hopefully will be a mare to defend

Bloody camps. It's outrageous. They shouldn't have them. Someone needs to ring the AFLPA. Just stick to Goschs. This would never have happened if they'd just stick to training there.

I agree IT! it is pissing down up there as well, made the ground slippery which would not have happened at Goschs where the weather is beautiful and firm under foot.

Insert why can't we have both gif

He was recruited as a key forward, he’s getting paid a key forwards and we need a key forward who excels in all aspects of the game that a forward of his size should.

Fark!  Can we just shut up about the camp thing?  Kid gets knocked out in a match sim, hope he is OK.  Its a tough game, and I want the Demons to play it tough.

Please don’t, that kid gives me the shits.

Yeah, it would be nice if the guy (Danny Trejo) would revert to his Machette persona.

Agree, with Petracca and Max and the other mobile tall (Hannan?) they will all rotate forward and through the midfield at times and would make it very hard for opposition defenders.

I think we may go in with Tommy doing a bit of relief ruck work. Although not sure if he's been doing any ruck craft?

That would be a very unpredictable forward set up.

Any reports? Did anyone go

Hi Brendan. I strolled down for a few hours this morning. It was a little bit wet which was annoying because I’d just bought a new pair of suede loafers that I was looking forward to breaking in. I think they look nice with white slacks which are cuffed at the bottom. I caught up with a Goody almost straight away. I noticed he was wearing the same polo shirt as he wore on the flight up. I asked if he only brought the one shirt on the trip, he just got up and walked away. He’s a bit of a jokester like that.

The team split into two groups in preparation for a non-contact match simulation. Apparently Tyson forgot the bibs so they were deciding on how to differentiate between the teams, I yelled out that the team with Petracca should just go shirtless.

After the game the players headed inside to the gym. I asked who could bench press the most, apparently Pedo and Frost are tied. Their max bench is about my weight so I said I’d be happy to have a bit of a competition between the two and see who could bench me. Unfortunately it was a closed door session so I had to leave.

Tommy Mc, Pedo and Kielty do a bit now and again to keep their hand in, so to speak

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
