If pick 21 from Geelong was what the Dee's wanted how can they justify taking pick 30 from Port.

Unless you have the facts of what happened then you are wasting your time, for all we know there may be issues in which we'd all be happy for him to leave and pay him out. Who knows...it'll all come out in the wash eventually

We should never pay a contract wage once a player is on another list. It’s classic double dipping from an opposition club, and i will never agree to it.

It merely shows that the list manager needs to be replaced as their calculations do not add up

I think we may have viewed the clip differently IDIG. I didn't have a problem with the little dig and liked his comment on barracking for the club. The bloke has real personality which is one of the reasons why so many of us will be sad to see him go.

And to be fair, it is all about him.

I disagree. I've always been a Watts supporter and defended him at times but I'm over him now and want him gone.

This is totally his doing, a guy who will be 27 at the start of next season and still isn't professional in his preparation. He seems to act like he doesn't know why this is happening, which is staggering really.

And I'm more disappointed than anything, as he could've been a really great player for the Dees but never got out of 2nd gear.

It's all part of it, we would not be the first or the last to do it. Is what it is.

And that stinks. Regardless of why this has occured, Jack has far more value than chips and a pollywaffle and i expect this to be the case.

I will be filthy if JW is playing at Port and we are still paying his wage with some rubbish draft picks that Port tossed in.

I am still angry about the Earl Spalding deal, we got bugger all out of that, whilst Carlton won the ‘95 flag easily with The Earl in the side.

I know you don’t care BB, but we differ on that

The market sets the trade value of a player. What is clear that there is shallow demand for Jack's services from other clubs. Given his talents, and that he should be coming into his prime, why are clubs not beating down our door to do a trade?

Our hope is that Port are going all in on a crack at a flag, as demonstrated by recruiting of Rockliff and Motlop as free agents, so they'll be pretty keen to satisfy the Dees with a pick in the 20s.

We can disagree on this point. I just don’t agree with it. I would rather play JW at Casey and pay his wage than pay for him to play for Port Adelaide.

Or thirdly get Watts and Goodwin together in a room and say

”sort this sh!t out, and do not emerge till you have”

Agree 100%

Guy is simply showing his disappointment with a smile.

I reckon he would be a cracking bloke to hang out with. A veritable Mr Popular, and not at all unlikeable.

He is simply a victim of our Coaches quest for a Premiership. Bloody shame.

Shame Port don't have Pick 14 or any 1st Round Pick this year for that matter.

Watts isn't worth a first-rounder.

presuming of course that the problem is in that room

Because too many clubs are aware of his shortcomings.

People keep only looking at one side of the ledger here.

If that is the case then why was a contract negotiated for 3 years last year?

As i said above, if Jack played a year at Casey (unless of course he made drastic changes to his preparations) it would send a massive message to our whole list.

Half assed efforts will not be tolerated, under any circumstance

This has been on my mind for a while now. Why does Jack Watts have flatmates? Surely he could afford his own place, right?

The hard questions as always skooty

Probably likes the company. Pretty common for most eccentrics.

Goodwin suggested he live a monastic existence in a gym full time.

Like a normal person would.

I have nothing to add sorry, except that Watts apparently  started following Port players on instagram.
