What a dog act.

Yes there are 2 sides to every story but the fact is Archer resorted to punching a junior level umpire in the face.

My son plays afl in NSW and  is 12 years old. I would hate him to see such a dog act.

Game in the division below mine for the same age group, can't comprehend how bad a call could be that would've caused him to jump the fence and assault the runner... Especially when his sons team was 10 goals up!

According to today's "Rage", Archer described the judgement as "crazy" and claims he was judged on only "three per cent of the story".

I appreciate the sentiment but dogs are great: loyal, friendly, funny and empathetic so how about you find a new descriptor for appalling behaviour.

(BTW your son plays Australian Rules football, not AFL. It's a personal hate of mine. I like our indigenous game to be known by its origins, not by a competition that we all happen to follow.)

My 2 boys played junior footy some years back and I reckon you see the worst behaviour by adults at a footy match. So many people have to take out their life frustrations watching 10 year olds play footy.

Without knowing the full story, or watching the 'face-slap video', I would back Glenn Archer as a decent human being any day of the week.

Leopards don't changes their spots.  Likewise, angels don't grow horns.

Two sides to every story.  I'm sticking fat with Archer.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
