That makes no sense. Nice try at humour, but it doesn't suit you.

Watts will hate the pies. I don't think he would work under Bucks. Plus would the pies fans still boo him if he went there?

Seriously I don't know why players bother signing contracts anymore. Hogan is signed to us. Go away perth teams. Id like to think Jesse is grateful for the support the club gave him through this crap year for him.

Plus WC are going backwards and Freo arent getting better. He'd have more chance having success with us.

On another note I still cant fathom why the cats want ablett still. Yes I know the whole family link and its a great story him finishing at his old club, but the cats have now been thrashed in 3 prelims. They need younger quicker players. Not a 34 year old who has dodgy hammies.

Carlton the new GWS and Collingwood the new Melbourne if Watts and Weid end up there.

Melb supporters boo him so Pies supporters will ravage him if he 'makes a mistake'.  Agree Jack will hate it at the Pies.  He is obviously keen to stay so he will probably hate it anywhere other than the Demons.

Let Geelong have their fairytale and get their prodigal back.  5 of their top 6 players are over 30 and the 6th (Dangerfield) will be 28.  And they have only a few potential stars coming on but they certainly don't have any KPP players coming thru or a half decent spine.

Their premiership window is rapidly closing and I would be very happy to see them take Ablett and slide down the ladder:lol:

But Joffa hates him.

Perhaps he's involved in the trade.

Straight swap or throw in a pick as well?

for all the watts trade rumours - though this is nothing concrete -  I think this is the best indication we've got so far about where he will be next year.

I question why Watts would even do an article like this?

I mean seriously, the only thing it achieved for me was, well...

Pointless.

The Cats are doing what every club should be doing, and that is trying to improve their list. Ablett cops a lot of crap at the GC because of his lack of leadership, but nobody can deny that he performs on the field. Split his gametime 50/50 between midfield and up forward, and he'll continue to be a superstar at Geelong. I know I'd rather play a Geelong team without Ablett next year than with him.

And the term "premiership window" is old hat. Not in your wildest dreams could you imagine the Dogs winning a flag last year, and potentially the Tigers winning it this year. Let's stop trying to  predict the rise and fall of other clubs, and worry about our own backyard.

Only got 30 seconds into that clip before I wanted to rip off my ears and gouge out my eyes.

Panel of arse-clowns.

Barrett also saying Rockcliff to Carlton.

This is simply not the case. His preference is to stay at Brisbane unless he gets an offer he cant refuse.

Nothing like that has come from Carlton.

At this time of the year, it's all trying to stir the possum to get attention. It's like a ritual.

And everybody remembers the one in ten they might fluke right, while nobody remembers the many stupid guesses they got wrong.

Didn't he get along very well with Malthouse at one stage, just after he'd left the Pies for Carlton?
Surely that would be a black mark as far as Bucks & Eddie are concerned.

Trade rumours make me laugh, if Barrett or Nixon said we were getting Josh Kelly everyone would be licking their chops, because it's Hogan and Watts everyone squeals like a [censored].

It's just a trade rumour thread FFS, don't take it to heart. As more unfold, everyone should post them, all part of the fun.

Yall know this here be a rumour thread right?

If they trade Max we better be getting one hell of a deal. And I dont mean Lever.

all's quiet I think.

But if I could, I would trade Max for Shiel & a 2nd Rnd pick. the Giants are right into they're open window, & so should be desperate for a top ruck.

GWS have a surplus of top mids.  And appear to have changed direction slightly looking for run & spread ahead of inside types.

They need a ruck desperately.

Both Giants & Crows, are deep into they're open window time frames, and competing against one another for Premierships.

We are a way behind these 2 clubs on timeframe.

They should be both desperate for any instant improvement which they can grab.

I would be looking to use both Watts & Gawn to both clubs, to see what we can garner.

But i wouldn't be trading cheap, with Max. We would be wanting overs for him.

Shiel + something, for Gawn.

I will only trade Max for a 2016 Max.

Regardless what you we get for him, who plays as our ruck? Honestly......

I find it impossible to get my head around Pedo and Tmac carrying the ruck all year. Unless we can do as the Tigers did with Nankervis and trade one in, but even they had Maric and Hampson as back ups. It's a big NO from me

So would I Moon.

Pedo & TMac wouldn't carry the ruck all year.  We would bring in another ruck or temps like Goldstein, Zac Clark, or others yet to be identified, from other clubs. Maybe a Lynch? or Martin.. this time of year, soon there will be others available.

Maxy to GWS, >>> Shiel + p23 to the Dees.

Tyson & Watts to Tiges, >>> P15 & P16 >>> Dees

P16 + P27 to Crows, >>> Lever to Dees.

- - - - - - -

I would be using a 2017 draft pick on a young ruck, who is a powerful mark. Hayes or Coleman-Jones?

Dees holding Picks 10, 15, 23...

Pick 10 on either young Brayshaw or Jack Higgins.

Pick 15 on  a young ruck to develop.

Pick 23 on a speedy running Mid.

Shiel & Lever come into the Dees lineup?

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
